What the heck do quarries look like?

 

I'm willing to hunt for them but I have explored huge chunks of Hinterlands, Storm Coast & the Exalted Plains haven't seen any that I know of.

They look like rocks. Stacked rocks. And they have a glowy claim marker.

If you get the Forward Scouts perk listed under the Spying perks, the quarries and logging stands show up as mortar and pestle markers on the local map so you can find them in a region.
