Already made a post on the technical support section, just figured I'd bring it here too.
For the passed hour I've had consistent troubles with all aspects of the game. Most I've seen before already.
Computer Build:
I5-2310 2.9 ghz sandy bridge quad core (turbos up to 3.3 I believe)
EVGA GTX 970 4GB SC ACX 2.0
8GB DDR3 1333 Mhz
1TB 7200 RPM HDD
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit
Corsair GS 700 Watt
Bug #1 : Opened up the main menu, selected multiplayer, it began to load, then got a NVIDIA error saying "DirectX function getdeviceremovedreason closed with DXGI_Error_Device_Hung." This is the first time this bug has happened to me.
Bug #2 : Gave it another try and this time I successfully got to the multiplayer screen. Joined a game and all of my abilities were gone. That's right, my action bar was completely empty. This is maybe the third or fourth time this particular bug has happened to me.
Bug #3 : Said screw it, decided I am not meant to play Multiplayer right now, so I pressed "Continue" on the main menu to load up the singleplayer. It loaded up just fine, THE NEXT PART IS A BIT OF A SPOILER: On the quest associated with Varric and Hawke called "From The Ashes" when I choose the "Custom" option, it all works well, except for one thing, my Inquisitor's voice actor changed from American to British. This is also a permanent change, whenever I talk to other NPCs I sound like a British dude.
Bug #4: I loaded up the save just before the conversation with Varric and chose the "Default" option. Now the game just closes immediately with no error.
So Bug 1 + 2 messed up my multiplayer. I'm forced into either accepting Bug 3, or wait for Bug 4 to be fixed.
Please look into this. I will play this game a lot less frequently until I hear about some major updates.
