Are there weapons that deal spirit damage, espcially staves (like there are for Ice, Lightning and Fire)?

I feel like I saw one (a stave) but can't remember.... it was relatively weak so I sold it, so I can't verify if it was a Spirit element.

You can add a Spirit Rune to add spirit damage however I've never seen a material that grants it as a base type.

 

Sadly though the Spirit Rune is quite weak compared to Corrupting.

Yeah, this is also a question I still have. I have only seen the elements of lightning, fire and ice as primary elemental damage on weapons, but I need one of spirit damage. Does this exist? Otherwise, can I somehow craft a staff that does primary spirit damage and not fire, lightning or ice?

I doubt it. Reason? Mainstreaming. Elemental Magic "sells". People expect it, so it is delivered. You can go without "spirit" or "shadow" or "force" magic in every fantasy game, but going without a broad choice of elemental stuff? Outrageous!!!! People WANT TO THROW FIREBALLS. lol....

Yes mate, but there is ALWAYS some kind of spirit, shadow, blight damage in RPG games. Even dragon age inquisition starts with 4 main abilities, in which Spirit is one of them. It would be really strange if de Devs decided to put the elements of lightning, fire and ice as primary damage, but no spirit damage. Why if all 4 are part of your main abilities as a mage?

I haven't seen a spirit staff after completing the game.  there may be one though, somewhere in the game.

Can grab yourself a superb spirit rune schematic at the Cradle of Sulevin and put it on any staff.

Shame, I was hoping for a bit more 'spirit' magic. Even something relatively weak like spirit bolt and a spirit staff.

There is a Stave you can purchase at the Keep in Emprise Du Lion called Purity Light. It is a Lightning element with a Spirit rune on it. It's DPS is 147 I think It was awesome! Don't use it in the area's Dragon... He's Lightning based lol
