Recently, between me and my friend:

- Oh, your necromancer is badass, she pwns everything

- No, there's still an enemy that I can't kill - vases

Mindblast! Since fortified blast is bugged it's atleast good for breaking vases. :P

The crazy thing about this is that you'd think it was a lag related issue but this happens even when you are hosting! (wtf!?) Who QAs this stuff? (Well if ME3MP was any indication, the players, apparently)

ME3 Multiplayer worked way better thought. Can't remember any actual issues playing that. especially compared to this.

Time heals all wounds I suppose. :P

This might help jog your memory. I made a compendium of outstanding ME3MP bugs, but that page also has a section of links to previous megathreads that popped up every couple months from its release until the final update: https://sites.google...#TOC-Bug-Lists:

BroJo and I just encountered it on PC. We were playing against Red Templars in the Elven Ruins. It happened in one of the underground levels, don't know the name. I think it was an invisible invincible Stalker that wouldn't aggro. One of us had the Stormbringer passive and it would strike a certain spot every 15 seconds. I dropped several Firestorms and Flame Walls on it, but it wouldn't die. However, the location changed slightly, probably due to the Firestorm.

We had to start another game afterwards.

1. Never encountered this one (ps4)

2. Never encountered

3. Never encountered

4. Demon commander definitely needs retuned, and needs to spend more time above ground and less time 1 shotting people with cheap instant kill mechanics.

5. She's pretty weak compared to DC and I guess the other Cap, but I facetank him so I consider him pretty easy too, though he's a pain on with my assassin, very melee unfriendly.

6. I wish there was a healing class :(  Keepers aren't required at least pre-perilous so there's no reason not to add a healer since it wouldn't be required either.  An offensive healer even, would be cool.

7. Don't get me started on the abhorrent loot system in DA:I MP.  It's the worst system I've encountered since I started MMO/RPG gaming in '99.

8. Haven't encountered

On pc: have had a despair demon teleport behind the locked room door :|

+ Abhorant drop rate for cloth related items in general.  I know rng but still....i have by now almost a 3-1 ratio each for metal / leather to cloth.  Wouldn't be as bad if I could use multiple cloth types to unlock a class...

Oh one hilarious bug that I haven't seen mentioned, we had a VIP mission once where all of our team just barely died, but the VIP survived and killed the last enemy. We got an Objective Failed, but we were all stuck in the fade and were just stuck since the VIP couldn't proceed and nothing was killing him. Probably should have just had the host quit and migrate/restart but I think instead we all quit in disgust and lost all the XP up to that point.

Be sure to salvage armor upgrades you're not using (I break down any upgrades below level 15) - they seem to always drop cloth.

Only the light armor upgrades. Elemental runes drop one of each, so I have started salvaging every lesser and normal rune, while keeping the great and superb ones. I have at least four superb ones lying around, so at some point I might start salvaging even the great ones.

10.  Loot vases that break open... then reform.  Only an AoE attack will crack them open the second time.  And if you dont have an AoE attack... oh wells, no loots for you.

It may have just been pure luck on my part, but it seems that the vases will only reform if you hit them from range.  I haven't ever had a melee character have a vase reform, and since I started hitting them from point blank with ranged weapons, none of them have reformed either.

I've had gold pots reform after melee attacks, point blank ranged attacks, attack spells like Stonefist ... I've had pots reform three times in a row. AoE is the only reliable method and a melee character can usually slash it until it breaks, even the archer can aim his bow just right to break it. Mage without AoE is screwed though.

Join game, can't move, and infinite 'joining session' are both my least favorite of all of our unfortunate bugs we're forced to interact with.  It's like that weird uncle everyone has, who shows up to family gatherings with cool gifts, but is really awkward, usually drunk, and no one really likes.  Except this time he didn't bring any cool gifts.

Probably the same as invisible, but i saw these two:

- Faction:  Demons (?), it was the blue ghosts that have a continuous freeze ray/spell

- Tevinter Ruins

- PS4

- occurred twice in same game (very rare otherwise)

- Other / description:

Full team on Threatening, something like Assassin (me), archer, lego?, keeper?/elementalist? ; mid zones; down in some sort of undercroft / cellars.

Team composition had changed from lobby, as someone dropped out/DCed, and had a new joiner, so possibly had a host migration?

There was a bunch of green ghosts, and 1 or 2 blue ghosts.  We get down to the last the last few enemies, and this one blue ghost teleports away from me, and inside of a sort of cage against the wall with vines growing around/thru it.  He cannot be hit inside it and can't hit us, but we can see him.

After a bit attacking with auto attack, stabbing etc he teleports/moves a little to close, and we can hit him, and kill him - yay!

Second time was a little further on, and again a ghost (not sure, i think blue again) is suck inside/on top of a sort of rock pile.  You cannot get close enough to melee him, but i think one of the ranged people got him eventually (most shots were not connecting / hitting an invisible wall.

----

I've had properly "invisible" enemies maybe twice before (no details sorry) which required a host quit/restart.  But i'm guessing that they're stuck in terrain, but not visible like those situations above.

Mostly i've been fine on PS4, its the Private lobby (dis)connecting that really needs fixing ASAP;  that and custom Playstation Vita controls / remapping away from L2/R2 to make Remote Play viable.

I had super reliable results with mind blast and the pots. I also use it to go in close against enemies, preferrably after freezing some guy. It's a bit like tech armour. That stagger is awesome! Sometimes I just set one off for the sake of it.

I remember ME3 Multiplayer twice as buggy as we have DAI now. I think all issues with connection/lobbys stay the same from ME3 and they are Origin-related. My 2 cents

The freeze ray isn't that bad. If you break line of sight (e.g. move behind a wall or rock or crate) it can't hit you.

Their little pop-up-underneath-you-ice-spikes, on the other hand ... those can hit you even if they don't have LoS, and there are three rock walls and half a dozen crates between you and them ...

Ugh yeah, i was just describing the enemy that caused the glitch:  you can just circle strafe and it misses you too.  The point was, is this the enemy that goes "invisible" by glitching into walls/floor/ceiling?

On the 360, I've had three different runs that have glitched at the end of the final wave of zone 5.  We've beaten everything, but the game thinks there is still another enemy so we are stuck in a endless stage with nothing to do and no way to end the operation.

The first time, I waited about five minutes and then disconnected, effectively losing all of my loot.  The second time, someone else disconnected and then the leader did and the last two of us were reloaded into a brand new zone 5 with half a team and our potions not restocked.  We promptly died.  The third time, the leader disconnected right away and we were respawned into a brand new zone 5, but fortunately a new guy got added right away and we still had some potions left, so we were able to complete the operation.

It's frustrating because many of us don't play with headsets on 360 (myself included), so there's no good way to get the leader to disconnect without sending them a PM.  I've started keeping note of the leader each time now just in case.  However, if you are the leader and it glitches, you are S.O.L and lose your experience and gold.

This is a new one.

Or is it an old one, HAHA!

WEBM

Hihglights: Unable to revive fallen teammate. Map doesn't load. Keeper becomes Vanguard. Map does not end.

There are some jump cuts for brevity's sake, but a full video is available.

Chests are nice and broken.  Sometimes you get 4 loot, sometimes 6.  Sometimes that unique item card actually turns out to be a lesser fire rune.

Tevinter ruins is the main one I've had it occur on, It only ever happens with the Red Templar faction and it's always an invisible Red Templar Shadow(We can see hit if he is knocked down but still unable to do damage to him), It seems to commonly happen when Firestorm is active from an Elementalist. Also this is on Xbox One

Recently had it happen to me on Chateau.  Was fighting red templars, and I think a stalker (or whatever their assassin unit is named)  was the enemy.  PS4.

On a maybe related note, I did hit it with spike trap and it seemed to disappear.

Has anyone seen these invisible or invincible enemies in factions outside of Red Templar (or for enemies apart from the stalker?).

Also, has anyone experienced any incidents of enemies teleporting to areas that are inaccessible to players? Any and all information you can provide will help us figure out what might be going on here.

The only enemies I ever see go invisible are ones that are supposed to.  They can still be targeted if you're close enough.   I've only seen a demon commander teleport behind a wall (To a ledge that just wasn't accessible by normal means) one time.  He teleported back after a few seconds and all was fine
