I had a pretty horrible bug just a while ago where my party was bugged and gave us absolutely zero XP, twice. First time we got a black screen, one of our party members DCd and when we came back into the game from the black screen into a group of enemies we - naturally - wiped.

 

Completed an entire run after that with the same party and gained zero XP again. Don't remember if we got gold or items but I don't think so.

 

Another one I had was on Orlesian Chateau. In an area where you can only get the key to the door from defeating all the enemies, one of them froze in place and never died so we had to wipe.

Forgot about other bug on PC:

 

Sometimes when entering a game, after it loaded we cant move, can cast spells/habilities, attack and rotate but we cant move and nothing solve it, need to leave the game!

 

I encountered this one a in a few games yesterday as well. The first time I encountered it was on the Elven Ruins, against, if I recall correctly, Red Templars or Venatori. It probably wouldn't have been so bad had I not been playing a melee character. My team kept kiting the mobs away from me. Not their fault I know, but I was trying.

With regards to the invisible enemies, can you provide me with more information on what faction and map you are seeing it on, what platform you are playing on, how often it occurs, and any other details I can pass on to our dev team?

Would you be interested in a video showing the map's top layer of textures disappearing (including enemies) and all that is left is the map's foundation. I've had the game glitch out on me twice like this and it left my team unable to pass through the zone. Both times this happened were on the 3rd zone of Threatening difficulty.. not sure if it was the same map both times but my recorded video was on the Chateau.

Sometimes, the whole party will be invulnerable for the entire game. Barriers take damage but HP doesn't, except fall damage lol. It's only happened to me in two games and I've played for about 70 hours.

Sometimes, the whole party will be invulnerable for the entire game. Barriers take damage but HP doesn't, except fall damage lol. It's only happened to me in two games and I've played for about 70 hours.

 

I want this bug ^_^

OK, So I found something interesting about the reavers rampage ability.

 

When fighting the demon commander two times yesterday as a reaver, I used my rampage ability on it, a couple times throughout the fight on the routine difficulty, on PS4. Each time i used my rampage ability and started to attack the demon commander with either the basic attack or dragon rage, I received no health.

 

All other enemies i've hit, I received health and the enemy has taken damaged. I thought he was invincible during his scream so I tried hitting while it was doing other things, still, no health.

 

This happened in both of the times I fought the demon commander yesterday.

 

One of two things I can come up with as to why this is happening.

 

1. The demon commander doesn't take any damage while a reaver is under the effects of rampage, thus couldn explain why no health is gained when a reaver under the effects of rampage receives no health.

2. The game doesn't registers the reaver attacks on the demon commander while under the effects of rampage and thus not receiving health, but still doing damage to the demon commander.

 

I usually look at my health bar to see if rampage is working since I first ran into it, and it seems that the rampage glitch only occurs to me when I use it on the demon commander. Because Im always looking at my health bar, i havent been keeping an eye on the demon commanders health while attacking him with rampage on.

 

I will try today and see if the demon commander in fact does take damage or not while under the effects of rampage if i can get another game that'll let me connect.

 

If the demon commander takes damage, then I can say #2 is a possibility, if the demon commander doesnt take damage, then it's number one that could be the issue.

Taking hits while in the return animation for fallback plan keeps the accrued damage post teleport.  

Obviously shouldnt be happening.

 

Also meaning, I once teleported and was dead upon returning to my position.  Seriously needs some looking into.

additionally to the countless times DAMP crashed today,

 

I also noticed 3 times that I got no experience points.

 

3 matches mean 1,5 hours of my life.... thanks Bioware

another problem with leaping is that you move away first,

but land at the same spot you wanted to get away from...

 

This can only be a bug and this happens to me about 1/15 of the times.

Anyone else had an issue with levels loading? Earlier on I was playing a game in the orlesian chateau and areas 3+ didn't load in at all, there was terrain for me to walk on but nothing else.

On PC. I've had issues where I'm trying to open a room via a class's special skill (lockpicking, kicking a wall, etc.) and nothing happens, yet the prompt disappears so I can't do it again. It's only happened a couple times, but it's disappointing... especially when I'm the only class able to do it but I can't communicate that it glitched to my teammates, so they just stand there expectantly (or yell at me and call me names over the mic, rofl).

I got the Dawn-Version of the assassin armor with 0 armor-Rating and i also got a no abilities/potions bug in one game.

I've only encountered 3 annoying bugs:

1) Vases not being able to be destroyed

 

2) Textures not loading or simply falling through them. 

 

3) Being told 'Match making is not available', leaving multiplayer and reentering in someone else's group.

Ok, so I went and tried to test out the theories. And it seems like option number two is the issue. Demon Commander takes damage, but rampage just doesn't give life when you hit em.

Here is video evidence.

 

 

As you can see I used rampage before engaging the demon and i stroke several times, and you can see the damage numbers popping out from the demon, but as you can see my health did not move at all.

A couple more bugs on PC:

 

- A friend loaded in to the match on his Keeper, all of his abilities and pots were no longer on his bar

- CTDs (Crash To Desktops) - very frustrating, especially as I host for my friends.  Where this really hurt was when we had just finished a match on threatening, but before the final screen came up, I as host was suddenly looking at my desktop.  Everyone of course received zero exp for the match.  9-(

 

Side note: funny thing happened last night, we entered into a zone 4 and had to rescue that snotty messenger.  Before we could even get to him, a Ventori rogue stealthed and one-shotted him.... just as we walked into the first room.  Was hilarious!  Of course, the bug part... he was still talking about how important he was even as the Mission Failed message came up.

Has anyone seen these invisible or invincible enemies in factions outside of Red Templar (or for enemies apart from the stalker?).

Also, has anyone experienced any incidents of enemies teleporting to areas that are inaccessible to players? Any and all information you can provide will help us figure out what might be going on here.

I just had an invincible Red Templar Shadow occur during Elvin Ruins/Zone 2/Routine (Xbox). He became immortal right on his last bar of health. He was also the last mook that needed to be finished off. One guy on our team appeared to be lag-stuck (i.e. at the front of the zone, not moving) since Zone 1. Close to the end of zone 2 when we were just finishing the last of the enemies to proceed to the next zone he started coming into fight. I was an alchemist. The other two functioning players were a legionnaire and Katari. The guy that was stuck was a Legionnaire. Gamertags of party: Shadohz, FothergillMD, warch1ef45, xXMetalMenanceXx. I was the lobby leader.

I posted this immediately after the game, so there's a timestamp for you.

Edit: The mobs that are giving us all the trouble seem to have special properties. The Red Templar Commander for instance has the slow death animation that could be failing to update across the session after an status change.

Everyone except the host moving at snail speed, only way to counter it is to jump around like an idiot.

 

Hosts fault, for using the 60 fps cutscene fix in their shortcut to the game's executable. You can't have that when you're joining someone else either unless you both have it. Host and the others will warp once a minute you will see no enemies and can't do anything.

 

Here's another fun bug, entering stealth a good 10 seconds before running into any mobs and they still spot and gank you immediately even though you're still invisible. One of several assassin/gameplay bugs I have experienced (And I have experienced MANY) that occurred even when I was hosting myself.

Random disconnects during matches. When I try to rejoin, I get the disconnect/loading screen loop, after I Alt+F4 and restart my game, it freezes on the main menus screen. Already happened three times in that order. Then I get random crashes to desktop with absolutely no error message or anything, game just vanishes. And on the scoreboard screen my game sometimes can't connect to the EA servers and my session gets terminated, leaving me with no exp yet again. Looking for a public lobby gives me disconnects 80% of the time. when I do find a pug lobby I still occasionally get the infinite black loading screen.

 

And then there are the lag issues, I refuse to believe that they are due to bad host connection. I have some European friends with really fast internet and if we were playing ME3MP, we'd get zero lag on each other's host. Yet in DAMP we get rubber-banding. I don't even care about DLC at the moment, I just want the devs to fix their game. It's a mess right now.

I think I finally figured out the trigger or at least a factor in the Red Templar Commander hanging up on Zone 5. One of the foot soldiers is randomly disappearing off the map. I forget the mooks name, but he's the buff guy with the square helmet that does the 3 gut slow gut punches and zaps his fellow mooks with red lightning to morph them. I had this happen two games in a row and saw them just vanish right before I got a chance to attack them. They weren't invisible. They just vanished.

My personally encountered problems and grievances:

 

1.  There is absolutely no grace period in the game. As I get picked up again the song "I get knocked down" rings through my head as I am continuously knocked out by archers taking potshots as I begin to stand up.

 

2.   Staying on the same topic of getting knocked out; I have encountered a bug that automatically shoves me into the green floating ghost form after being knocked out a total of three times in the previous room or rooms plural. I have repeatedly experienced it and can accurately state that it has happened underneath both circumstances on varying maps, enemies, and difficulties.

 

In retort to Bioware's questions

 

A. No; I have not seen the invisible/invincible enemies that make room progression impossible. That's why they are invisible.

B. Yes; I have encountered the same problem with Fearlings and Venatori Stalkers

C. Yes; I have encountered enemies forming in spots that make them impossible to actually hit. One specific example is that recently I opened a loot room and formed inside of 1 column, 1 bannister, and a wall were the large spider and two of the smaller variants.

 

To add additional info from experience: Once I ran into a Golden Nug that had ran off a ledge next to a staircase in the Elven Ruins and literally caught in the rubble below having it run in place as it clipped through the ground at a singular point sinking through and rocketing out to where we could see it's back. We beat at the ground for five minutes trying to kill that thing.

This is an intended feature.  After 3 knockdowns, any further automatically kick you into the fade.

It whould be better to have 1 knockdown per Zone instead of 3 per game, also there should be a Brief invulnerability when you got revived, getting killed again right away before you can do anything is frustrating.
