2: open door to zone 4, found no quest, no enemies, no treasure, a room that led to a giant sand pit OUTSIDE that I couldn't jump back out of. Someone somehow opened the door to 5 and I was teleported UNDERNEATH the bridge/main entrance. I couldn't hit anyone but could barrier someone if they were directly above me. Eventually they all died and I was magically able to kill the demon commander as he teleported to me his legs were half in my little underworld hole...he couldn't attack me though so I cattle prodded him to death
Still 4 enemies and I can't hit them...worried we all would have to quit but I walked to a corner that lead outside which immediately spawned me at the front gate. I killed last few agros and won that LIKE A BOSS!!!

 

Something like that happened to me once as well. Seems more like a connection to host issue since it only really affected me personally while the rest of the group obviously continued on fine. As far as I can remember though things fixed itself by the next stage in my case. Far less common and bothersome than the key issues in my opinion, though it did pretty much render me useless for that round.

Something like that happened to me once as well. Seems more like a connection to host issue since it only really affected me personally while the rest of the group obviously continued on fine. As far as I can remember though things fixed itself by the next stage in my case. Far less common and bothersome than the key issues in my opinion, though it did pretty much render me useless for that round.


I'm not sure this is the case
It seemed more like an unfinished level design. It could be the door to outside was simply a normal door with the room missing but what with reports of empty wastelands and the like it tells me that they added level designs that were untested with the current DLC

Has anyone seen these invisible or invincible enemies in factions outside of Red Templar (or for enemies apart from the stalker?).

Also, has anyone experienced any incidents of enemies teleporting to areas that are inaccessible to players? Any and all information you can provide will help us figure out what might be going on here.

 

I've seen Fear Demons get into inaccessable areas of the Orelesian Chateau, usually the big courtyard areas. And animal enemies spawning on top of each other unable to move until they get attacked, and possessed Wolves spawning outside of walls, or half in/out of the open windows on the same map, unable to move.

 

I don't recall ever having an invulnerable or invisible enemy so far, although I haven't played in the last week or so, if that is a new one. I've played quite a bit of MP in general though.

 

It may be a rather large helping of luck, but the map type I've experience the least issues on is the Tevinter Ruins, by far.

 

Also, if you jump while in spirit form (when you're dead) the screen goes black.

 

Necromancer spirit forms should not be able to drink, and thus waste, healing or lyrium potions.

That has nothing to do with DLC, since it already happened before the DLC was released.


Then it has to be levels not fully downloading. There should be some sort of fail safe option for the leader to possibly restart a zone but that would be exploited too.
I can't think of any way around this

Easy fix your idea but already opened chests and vases stay opened and enemies in that level dont give any more exp.

Did any dev say that you download the entire Level each time you play?
Because downloading assets etc. again everytime you Play whould be a very inefficent way to do it.
I think the only "level" to download during play is a bit of Information that tells your game which Level-parts it has to load from your hard-drive.

1. very long loading times, I have a pretty good PC but I need to wait for allmost 2 minuts to play a round....

2. starting a match without skills, When the game is finally done loading I start with no skills on my skillbar. This will repeat itself for 3-6 matches

3. and offcourse all the disconnections

Sixkiller can you explain more about the loading in with no skills. I would like to add it to the The Unofficial Multiplayer Feedback my team is creating. This is the first we are hearing of this bug mind explaining it to us?.

Seems to have cleared up for me since I exit the game after every lobby, and clear the internet cache..

 

Which leads to me to my main bug, only getting approx. 20 mins of game before losing session connection. Almost always enough to play one round, unless their is a host migration or other issue. Bug appears as everyone else running on the spot before session lost, and only temporary fix I have is to close both Origins and the game, clear cache and restart. Absolute nightmare.

Tried DAMP as archer. Only way to move faster than a slug was to reduce graphics to LOW & some off. Game still stuttery.

Only played beginner routine level in elven ruins.

Played a few games, was killed by invisibles that I could not target, following team, POOF! I was teleported to another room & could not get back through OPEN doorway.

Another game teleport to outside of game to infinite 'computer' flat ground and boxes of ground, could only 'jump', could see game buildings but could only die in black screen till I 'task mgr quit'. Another game poof to a room, I decided to make best of it and kept going, poof another room to win game. All the while team leader spoke to me asking wtf, I said "aint me" & and and there were NO enemies just gold and gold every step.

Seem once it starts in a game I keep POOFing (no bs ha ha) till game win, or black-screen-4-me.

 

PC i5-2500K 3.30Ghz 8G ram 64 bit dual-gtx460

 

Tried again few hours later, craweled, stuttered, crashed.

I find this MP unplayable, 'looks' great, but is only glitches

Do you have an SSD? With a HDD, it does take about 2 minutes to load. Trololol-timized game+big maps.

With the dlc i had invincible raptor that could only be effected by status effects such as knockdown or burning, but no damage. It didnt move or attack the party, it was as if the AI had been shut down. It just stood there, unable to be killed, and obviously prevented us from getting a key.

It's not game bugs, I think. You are running two GTX 460s in SLI?

Yeah mate, it might be time to look at an upgrade. The GTX 750 will run circles around both your GTX 460s, and is quite affordable (less than $150USD).

I say this because it is recommended to update your GPU after two generations, and games become less and less optimized for your GPU after about three generations. Your cards are four generations old now. and because they are in SLI, when they do work there is an insanely high chance for micro-stuttering.

 

I will also make this note: While as my personal preference leans toward nVidia cards, Bioware seems to be biased toward AMD. To really get the best optimized gameplay with Inquisition, you will probably want to look at AMD solutions. An R9 260X would be about optimal price for performance on a tight budget (about $130), but an R9 270X would probably be ideal (about $200).

I have not the armor to guard against this revelation.

I thought GPUs are good (older is cheaper) and yeah new gens come out.

But I was totaly without weapons when it came to the SLI factor with "insanely high chance for microstuttering"

I will suit-up and investigate this corner of the map.

 

Also aware of DAI being biased toward AMD, but I stick to my commrades,

in Nvidea I remain.

For invincible enemies, sometimes a critter (canine/lizard) becomes "semi-dead".

It renders as semi-transparent, will resurrect (remaining transparent), then it is

invincible to most attacks.  A stun will allow it to be "re-killed".  You can then

"beat on the dead horse" until it once again resurrects.  Firestorm seems to be

the most common trigger for this situation.  However, it can also manifest from

other abilities.

 

For enemies teleporting to areas that are inaccessible to players, this is most

clearly seen if you solo while set to allow anyone to join(the chaos of multiple

players makes it harder to detect).  You will see that some enemy types will

aggro new players that are attempting to join the match.  Despair demons, and

some others, can jump into areas of the map that are not accessible as they

move towards the players that are attempting to join the match.  If the player

that is attempting to join the match disconnects (a fairly common bug at the

moment), the enemy that is traversing inaccessible areas to get to the

player zoning in, can get hung up, and its accompanying 'red dot" on

the player map can disappear.  No key afterwards, since there was no kill

for that last enemy that is now somewhere in "limbo'.

just had 3/4 unplayable games , no key ( wolf spawned in previous room after all else dead)  and psn dropout x 2.

Worst is kill the last mob in 5/5 and no bonus , no xp. leader drops out , back to the start of 5/5   cmmmmmmm

It's not Bioware that is biased towards AMD, but the Frostbite engine and all the Mantle'ness.

 

Hopefully DirectX 12 will change this.

Probably your ram. This game EATS ram. I have 16 gb in my rig and it takes up nearly half of it sometimes. Make sure you play with all other games/windows/apps/etc closed. This will free up your ram to focus on the game. Could help you some. if you are on windows, you can drop a 'gadget' on your desktop that monitors RAM and CPU usage. It's pretty useful.

 AMD master race. :D Never thought i could say that. My AMD FX8350 runs DAI like a dream on full graphics. only ever lag when i get in a game with Russia.

Everyone except the host moving at snail speed, only way to counter it is to jump around like an idiot.

 

Not being able to revive downed teammates, even though they have not used up their 3 lives.

 

All the disconnects, crashes, infinite loading screens and severe lags. For the record I have a 100mbit connection and no other game has these kind of network issues.

 

Despite this being the worst online game experience I've ever encountered, it is one my favourite MP games. I can't wait til all these bugs and performance issues get fixed. Good luck to the devs!

Probably your ram. This game EATS ram. I have 16 gb in my rig and it takes up nearly half of it sometimes. 

 

That is highly unlikely, It is a 32-bit software, so maximum memory it can use is somewhere around 3 Gb plus some change which is about right for me.
