Not much else to say at this point. I suspect many people haven't finished one, let alone more than one.

I did Cassandra's in my run and I felt it too much like Jack's good romance in Mass Effect 2. You know, a girl that seems like trouble but inside is an A-Level softie.... I've heard Blackwall's is a whole mess on its own.

The others seem rather dull to even go for them. Bull is Bull, Sera is too crazy, Viv too dull, and Dorian has a pornstache. Is Solas romancable?

Cullen romance with a human mage Inquisitor took me completely by surprise.

 

I have not been a big Cullen fan in the past. I had no plans to romance him - I was actually trying to choose between Josie and Blackwall - but I kept picking the romance dialogue options because reasons. And then stuff happened and then I just had to romance Cullen and I kept thinking "Inquisitrix is a mage, this will end badly" - and then... just all the Feels with a capital f. I highly recommend it, particularly with a mage Inquisitor. His character development is amazing. (And now it appears I've joined the ranks of the Cullenites - completely by accident.)

 

Don't know about the rest, but I kinda want to try everyone's romance at least once. Except for the Bull - he was someone I definitely wanted to romance at some point, but he hasn't really made me terribly interested, this far. I'll just have to see if that changes - and if not, there's always YouTube.

Females are all plain ugly ... wish we could go with Leliana or ... the other interesting woman in the plot.

 

Cass is a man with breasts and Josie ... well, something is off putting about her too and don't even start me on Vivienne, she is the worst. Probably gonna be first time when my Hero will finish the game as a Virgin

My Inquisitrix and Solas got on so well together I was a bit sad my Inquistirix was human. Definitely going to romance him at some point - maybe even next playthrough. His character is very well written, all of his conversations are super interesting, and Gareth David-Lloyd's voice acting is all around spectacular. I don't usually go for bald guys, but Solas will have to be my exception!

So far I've only completed the Iron Bull romance.

 

The flirt dialogue up until he actually expresses interest/realizes your intent is pretty awful. But once things happen, I was pleasantly surprised. IB is really a big softie. The romance conclusion and what he says to the Inquisitor was really sweet (who knew qunari could be so romantic?).

What i mean is that she doesnt fancy dwarves or humans but would romance them

 

Doesnt mind elves unless they are super elfy (fml)

 

and apparently loves Qunari.

 

Instead of all races being treated equally.

 

I'm extremely happy that Bioware decided to gender gate and race gate some romances. IMHO

I really really REALLY do not like Dorian. Too bad for the first gay romance option. I've always romanced a guy with a male PC....but Dorian's just...he's just...he doesn't have Zevran's suave, Kaidan's swag, or Fenris's sexiness. He's just...he's just a guy in a weird outfit with a weird mustache.

 

Jesus. I'm in a relationship with him but I headcannon that I'm sleeping around with Cullen and Cole. I don't really have much of a choice as the other gay male option has horns.

I can tell you all Iron Bull's male/male romance is great. I couldn't romance Dorian because of the bug, but I was pleasently surprised with Bull - he doesn't seem to respond to flirts but that's explained down the track. The romance scenes are all great.

(Don't get me wrong. I love the Bull. And I love his take on politics, on friendship, ESPECIALLY ON GENDER! Loved his conversation with Cole regarding Krem being a guy. That was just...thank you BW for being progressive. But...yeah, I can't sleep with someone with horns. It's just not going to happen.)

The Cullen romance is by far one of my favorite romances in a Bioware game. So unexpected and heartwarming.
