Bull with my male elf was great! But I'm pretty sure I exhausted all the romance stuff already (3ish scenes, all resulting in sex I think) in one go, I wish i spread it out a bit more but I'm satisfied. Can't wait to romance Dorian with a male Qunari next (then Sera afterwards with either a dwarf or qunari!)
There's more to it then that - you don't get any more explicit scenes after the bang but there's a lot more development. they were really well done, all of them. Personally I've only done the Cullen on so far but I plan on doing all of them. Apparently I have no life.

Ive only done one so far, but i love the fact that you actually become a couple in the game. So you end up in a relationship and the person responds to you and things that happen as if you were in a relationship. No quicky before the last fight, ok over!
Yeah its an interesting approach that they took as opposed to their previous games. Feels more natural, rather than building up to 1 scene before final fight its taking course throughout the whole game.

Judging by the videos, Cassandra's, Cullen's, Dorian's and Solas' are AWESOME and have a lot of depth and emotion. Iron Bull's is funny but a little thin. Blackwall's I need to see more of. Josephine's is cute but kinda cheesy and juvenile in places. Sera's is the worst of what I've seen, she doesn't seem to care much for the Inquisitor at all and if they aren't qunari female, she constantly puts them down. But I'm planning to do all of them at some point (trying to go for the most dialogue options with these race/class combinations):
male human warrior with Cassandra
female human mage with Cullen
male elf mage with Dorian
female elf archer with Solas
male dwarf rogue with Josephine
female dwarf warrior with Blackwall
male qunari mage with Iron Bull
female qunari rogue with Sera

Romanced Dorian with a human mage. I think my male human mages have bad luck
their LIs always leave them. Well okay, I'm being dramatic. His romance reminds me a lot of Zevran's (mostly due to the whole "I love you... But I gotsa go bro."). It's sweet and had a plot twist I didn't expect... Though most of the companions do too.
I was readying myself to romance Blackwall... But after... Him not being Blackwall

Better than most BW romances, if you ask me. Much more contextual and not simply "talk nice, let's bang".
Also go with the not having to rely on flirt options (which are actually a lot better and not cheesy like DA2).

I'm usually a game w h o r e in this franchise, loving up on everyone that I can get away with within the internal mechanics. It might take a few playthroughs, but eventually I will have slept with everyone possible.
Now, someone please tell me where the best brothel is located in Inquisition?

I really miss a bad girl option for the male inquisitor. I really really regretted doing Josephines romance, it was so boring and vanilla. Where's my Isabela and Morrigan?
And you'll never ever see me romance Cassandra. She's perfect as a character to oppose me, and it's great to have a character who differs from your own, but I just really really don't dig religious zealots.
On the other hand Dorian is absolutely a delight. He reminded me a little bit about Zevran, but honestly the comparrison really don't do him justice. I haven't gone that far into my 2nd playthrough, but as of now he's the best bioware romance done ever.

True. I killed my Warden because he is single and none of the gals in DAO suits him...
DA2... err... unfortunately best romance went to Averline. -sigh-
DAI does it much better. Reminds me of Mass Effect ![]()

Josephine's romance makes absolutely no sense. She's supposed to be a top notch diplomat, reader of whims, family matriarch, ex-bard and trained in the Game and then she's behaving like a little girl out of a Disney movie? Hell, I took offense when she lifted her foot while kissing. I hoped her to be a good match for my noble rogue but no, it shouldn't be.

Finished Sera's romance (human Inquisitor). Loved it
. The part with the gift made me laugh ("She won't get the redundancy") and melted my heart at the same time.
I also like how there are lots of flirt options outside the romances. Like there is plenty of opportunity to flirt with Cassandra, even for the female Inquisitor. And she doesn't ignore or reject it like Aveline.

Cassandra romance final scene observations:
1) Where are the flowers I had to trek over to Val Royeaux for?
2) Who thought it was a good idea to put all those candles in the grass? You're going to burn the forest down!
3) Basking in the afterglow, Cassandra decides to bring up... sleeping with someone else? Really? So I'm not even your first mage?

Those two are literally the only ones with interesting personalities that stand out to me.
Guess I gotta play as a female next time.

So i have now 4 characters through here are my suggestions:
Cullen - heartwarming recommanded as a mage, makes it even more special ( no changes through between humanfem and elffem, but still so cuttttttteeeeeeeeee)
Ironbull - i really liked it, it is a little bit more special if you play as qunari through (used femqunari for this and it fit the way i played my char, its more the tough love thingy)
Josephine - just cute, like really cute used a male here, did i mentioned cute?

I did Blackwall and he's really not for everyone. It's just so much drama, anyone looking to find a sweet and easy ride better look elsewhere. Lucky for me, I have a thing for complicated and tragic love stories.
I'm doing Solas now, bring on the heartbreak!

Females are all plain ugly ... wish we could go with Leliana or ... the other interesting woman in the plot.
Cass is a man with breasts and Josie ... well, something is off putting about her too and don't even start me on Vivienne, she is the worst. Probably gonna be first time when my Hero will finish the game as a Virgin
You only think that way because you have been brainwashed by the media and pop culture to expect scantily clad women with unrealistic standards of beauty. Hopefully when you get older you will change.

Lol. Yeah.
I don't know. I liked all the flirt options with Cassandra more than I liked her actual romance. It was funny to see how exasperated she would get at my advances and I think that part was well-written. But then the deed was done and there was basically nothing else to say to her other than "wanna come to my room and make out?" It might be more a criticism of her voice actress as well. I think she did a good job as a more adversarial character but when the romance started the line delivery just seemed to get more wooden. The "it's so great talking to you, my love" at the the initiation of every conversation post-romance just felt wrong for Cassandra. People in relationships don't really talk like that, and if they did they wouldn't say it as candidly as if they were remarking on the weather.
While I would probably be seriously annoyed at anyone in real life who acted like Sera I have to give her voice actress some made props for getting in to that character when you remember it would have all been done in a little recording booth. She really delivered the energy that the script demanded for certain scenes (and that's quite a lot of energy), like her absolute giddiness at the prospect of Vivienne being told about a relationship between her and the femquisitor. She might be ****** crazy but she felt like a real person and for that reason she grew on me.

Solas's romance has got to be one of my favourites out of any Bioware game. Just that first scene alone is so well-done; the acting, the choreography, the music, the facial expressions, everything. Bioware has come such a long way.

Viv is a side chick to some lord, no way is she giving up that position.

I think that line is about how much she lost and her determination to not lose more to the big bad. He is also mentioned in a Cole/Cass banter by the way.
