Probably not much. I haven't heard or seen anything extra with mages that I've not experienced with a rogue. If there's anything it'll be minor. So how heavily different is Cullen's romance between him and a mage and him and a non-mage? I was going to romance him next, but I don't have a lot of interest in mage. If it really makes that much of a difference, I suppose things can be changed.

Ha! My thoughts exactly. Solas has joined Garrus in the "Best Bioware Romance" spot.
I also wish it had more content, but then I remember how amazing each of those scenes were. And Cullen may get more cutscenes, but I wouldn't trade the party banter for the world. Solas getting all stuffy after Viv points out he set his coat on fire had me laughing so hard I couldn't breathe.
And I need a resolution so much it hurts. I've never been so simultaneously giddy and filled with rage as I was when I saw that after the credits scene.
I have that crummy banter bug on my Elf. My human seems to be getting plenty between certain characters, but I've heard almost no Solas banter at all (I've refused to use him with my human, as I am upset with him he's on time out). Cass maxed out her dialogue with both Bull and Dorian in a few hours, but I've gotten nothing between Bull and Dorian... so it seems like on this save it's just some groupings instead of all of them.
Anyway, yes. Cullen's is awesome, sweet, and those early flirts are awkwardly adorable, but as excited as I was to romance him when they announced it it doesn't have the same kind of depth for me. Maybe a while from now when I'm not all angsty over the damn bald elf.

I have the banter bug too, but it got way better after leaving the Hinterlands. Dorian/Solas/Viv are an amazing party for banter and I highly recommend them.

Cassandras is cringeworthy and doesnt seem natural at all. Josephine´s seem fairy tale totally without substance. Only one´s i tried but you could safely say that the romances where made as an afterthought and as a fan service only. I enjoyed Origins romances much, much better even though the system for romances was worse.

Cullen is ok. It felt too "same-y" to me compared with Alistair. But it has some good parts to it to make it a bit more depth (esp. when mage). But I find him not being a party member can take away a bit for some reason.
Blackwall I really enjoyed. Has more depth than expected and I quite like having an older male choice.
Solas I thought was nice. But the ending really leaves a hole there. Similar to Morrigan romance in DA:O I suppose.
Hopefully that will be further built on later. As I thought the romance was good, but to have it ended so blatantly is so sad. T_T

Sera's is funny if you're into that personality.
Cullen's was great, many a time I was like "aww"
Josie's is sweet in a first true love kinda way
I'll let you know how Dorian, Blackwall and Cassandra's go
Solas will not be getting romanced by my elf for obvious reasons and Iron Bull is too...."horny" for me, I'd prefer to remain undamaged.

I suffered through Sera's romance arc for an entire playthrough (160 hours)... and got fully clothed/fade to black sex scenes???? WTF, I thought Bioware had said they were done with fully clothed/underwear sex? Seriously disappointing to have no nudity in a romance arc of a game rated M for Nudity... seriously. (And I still don't like Sera any better as a character after experiencing her every nuance - she's a huge let down for me as the lesbian of the game.)

I think there's a bug with their sex scene that you seem to have experienced. Look it up on youtube there is nudity involved.

I romanced Solas first and have found it very hard to go back and run my other planned characters. There was so much depth and feeling added to the whole thing that it's not the same without that extra level of connection. It's not tragic so much as poignant, and that is a great part of its beauty.
