I was originally going to have my Elven warrior drink from the well but decided to let Morrigan have a crack at it since the leader of the Inquisition being bound to a demi-god-thing did not seem like a good thing.
It definitely made the later cutscene much more interesting.

Is Morrigan glad in the end that you drank it?

After you meet you-know-who, I think she makes a crack of how she thinks she is relived you drank instead of her or something like that.

I do think there should have been an option to resign after the game, though. Having the head of the Inquisition possibly bound to scary god lady seems like a poor idea.

Morrigan drank it. I like knowledge but not at the cost of my personal freedoms.

You are the leader of the most powerful organization in Thedas at the moment(fact). You can't afford to be under a geas. That would make mythal the leader of the most powerful organization in Thedas,we don't know what she wants.Unacceptable

I let Morrigan drink it because my Dalish elf had no desire to be under the control of an ancient goddess she most definitely didn't believe was gone.
I'm glad I did, it led to one of the most character building scenes for Morrigan I had ever seen.
Major Spoiler: Click at your own risk.

No. I figured my guy had enough on his plate already than to add all that. Besides, he didn't want more to 'define' him. Morrigan got all that glory. (Also Dorian didn't want him to)

My dalish is just a bit racist and wouldn't let a shem acquiring any sort of elvhen power. I don't regret it at all, even though we serve Mythal now (her vallaslin was for her) and her nerd expert husbando was pissed.

I really wanted too, but in the end I care more about Morrigan then my Inquisitor so I let her have it, also her points made sense.

I drank from the well because morrigan has a son and I didn't wan't anything to terrible to happen to her. not to mention her son is the ogb and it would suck if he hated me for any reason.
Forget the son, imagine what the Warden would do when if you let her drink from it.

I let Morrigan drink. I had a feeling that being a slave to a supposedly dead god would come to bite me in the ass. So it came to bite Morrigan in the ass, though luckily not as horribly as I thought it would.
Also that ending. Double u Tee Eff! ![]()

About the puzzles in there being hard. I find it amusing how different the wires of the brain can be for people.
My friend had zero problems with astrariums, learnt them super-fast. But spent ages on the temple puzzle.
I had zero problems with temple puzzles, I made them out in a matter of minutes. Astrariums however? Minimum 10 minutes each, at least!
He told me the astrariums were logical and easy, while raging at the temple puzzles.
I found it the other way around.
Just find this very interesting... how the logic center of people's brain can be so vastly different when it comes to problem solving ![]()

I care absolutely nothing for my Inquisitor and I'd rather Morrigan be free and safe than her if that is what drinking from the well means. So I'll probably make my mage elf drink it, if I decide on that rather than the plot twist involving Morrigan and her mom. Then to add to her struggles, I'll switch from the Cullen romance to the Solas one for the extra drama. I liked my screw up Hawke and I don't like how it feels to me as though the Inquisitor is basically her replacement, verses having her own separate enemy like Hawke did from the Warden. If the Archdemon came back and Hawke had to defeat it where the Warden failed, I'd feel the same dislike.
Usually want the ending that ensures my character's overall well being the best that is possible, but I think it is time to shift that.

I had romanced Solas, and brought him with me, he wasn't happy at all. So the romance scene after that was heartbreaking.

Is Morrigan glad in the end that you drank it?
Yes she is pissed off at first but when finding out about the whole servant thing she is glad she didn't drink from the well she hated the prospect of being a slave to flemeth and has you to thank for that.
