I cried for an hour and a half after this because five episodes after it they still kept on the feels. It was never fracking ending.

 

The Yiddish have a term for that experience of overwhelming feels: Verklempt. In the case of Grave of the Fireflies, it's an inappropriate term. The movie emotionally bogs you down because now you're watching a animated film that's making it just...real. So, I don't blame you for not watching it. I watched it once 13 years ago. Never again.
