As the name title said, I'm looking for Frost runes to upgrade my weapons.

Checked every store and merchant I could find, got nadda.

Have you found the Frost rune recipe? So far i havent found anyone selling a frost rune - the most Ive seen is a drop of some sort for the runes

Yeah, so far, only found corrupting rune recipes.

I found a schematic in a cave in The Hinterlands. NW, close to where you finish the Lover quest. There's 2 or 3 close to each other in that area.

You can get it from a fade fire rune as well so far I've found the fire rune schematic and electric rune schematic hope this helps.

It's a place where you have to use Veilfire lamps, it's dark as hell in there too.

There is also a Master Spirit Rune in the trouble with darkspawn tevinter ruin prison area. Someone should make a rune location thread. Lol.

Can find a Superb Frost Rune at the Sahrnia Quarry.

Fire Rune I found in the cave in the Hinterlands were you do Solas's "Measuring the Veil" quest. The Frost Rune schematic was in the West Road, in the dungeon near the astrarium north-west of Redcliffe Farms Capm.

I found it in Western Approach.

 

It's either in the cave near Servis' hideout or in the Coracavus prison ruins. I'm sorry, but I can't remember which one I found it in

At any rate, you need to obtain and complete the Trouble with Darkspawn operation before you can enter, and the runes are hidden. You need to light the nearby veilfire to reveal them.
