U wrong.
It can't be sturdy battlemage, look at the screen, color of plate on chest gold, while on battleMAGE it light silver. And legs textures differs.

Look at the second pic. The inquisitor there has a stick looking like a staff at his back meaning he's a mage. Also, the plate color can be changed if you craft it. I have mine crafted so it has rusty color as well. And for the leg, that is because of the legs upgrade.
The only difference battlemage and the sturdy battlemage armor has is the inner clothing that is partially covered by the plate.
This is my quizzy wearing Sturdy battlemage armor with arms and legs upgrades
nvm the floating shoulder part in the last pic, it's bugged.
Edit: Ok, I checked again and the groin
part differs in each class. the male quizzy in previous screenshots look like to be a rogue since it's seamless in the groin part. In any case, except that groin part and the knee armor look, you can get the pretty much same look with sturdy battlemage armor.

The arms are broken on the Battlemage version. Bad rigging and lazy testing. Personally I like the Prowler version for my mage, I like the legs better.
Hellosanta is correct on all counts, either way. The plate color (and by extension the chainmail on the shoulders) can be changed by crafting it.
What's that dark grey/black cloth you're using, by the way?

Yep, I liked the look of battlemage armor arms upgrade, but I couldn't stand that floating shoulder part. It was sooooooo annoying. So I changed to battlemage coat arms.
The grey-ish dark cloth used in the coat is great bear hide.

Do the battlemaster gloves look good with the rest of the set Hellosanta?

U are wrong too.
BattleMAGE hasn't slot for metal so it can't be changed. Only in masterwork maybe.
And even if it is, texture of pants still differs.

All Simple/
On THAT armour u can get colourful plate, BUT if u look at collar (above plate) it differs from that which on screen above. That collar can be only on sturdy bm armor, but sturdy bmage armour hasnt metal slot
Again:
1) Battlemage armour HAS metal slot, but model itself differs from screenie
2) Styrdy battlemage HAS same model, but HASNT metal to make plate colourful

No. The Standard Battlemaster armor has the same neck scarf thing as pictured here previously and so does the Prowler armor. Both have metal slots.
Don't buy the Sturdy version then.

Does anyone know the materials needed to get the gold/red/brown colour scheme for the Battlemaster armour, please?

The armor is actually called Sturdy Battlemaster Armor, the remaining pieces to complete the look come from as previously stated, a dragon. The gloves and leg pieces are crafted. Those are called: Battlemaster Arms & Battlemaster Legs. I think these came from the vendor in Hissing Wastes w/ the dog out in the canyon.
I haven't played the game yet, but if someone could kindly answer, i would be ecstatic.
Can i craft this armor exactly for my Mage, if i use the schematic and craft it with silverite? Or with materials that bypass restrictions?
Also, how soon can you find said materials to make heavy armor for mages?
Thanks! :]
Edit : i also didn't dare look too much in the forum from fear of spoilers, so if this has been answered before, sincere apologies :x

Yes, and you don't need to use the heavy armor, light armor will look the same with the upgrades on it.

Yes, you can. Both silverite (needed to remove class restriction on warrior only armor because it requires a metal) and and dales loden wool (needed to remove class restriction on mage only armor because it requires cloth) can be used to remove class restriction on armor respectively.
In my case, I needed 19 dales loden wool to remove the class restriction on the sturdy battlemage armor that looks exactly like the sturdy battlemaster armor that you want to equip. I don't why you wouldn't want to use the mage armor to avoid having to get the materials but it's your choice. The only reason I used the sturdy battlemage armor on my warrior is because I wanted the option to change the "scarf" color to my specified color. I lacked the correct masterwork for the warrior version that could change the color. Now I'm only getting willpower from the armor which is useless to me, of course. But my Inquisitor looks good.
As for silverite, I don't know where you can get it but I know you can get it whenever you want just like how I did with dales loden wool. Apparently you can grind for silverite and get a lot of it, but that's that.

And let's say, i craft this heavy armor for a Mage? Am i restricted to color? Like, can i have it red, for instance? Or Rusty, dark looking? Is it possible?
Or i'm stuck to whatever color silverite is providing?(you use silverite to bypass restrictions right?)
Cheers for the answer, appreciate it a lot :]
I didn't know there was a Mage version as well, but this applies to all Warrior armors i would like crafted for my Mage ![]()

You're not restricted to color. I believe silverite will go into the armor portion of the schematic slot. The slot that changes the cloth color is the masterwork slot where you would have to put something like fade-touched highever weave to change the "scarf" to the color red.
There is no need for you to use heavy armor. The sturdy battlemage armor is EXACTLY the same as the sturdy battlemaster armor for warriors. You don't have to go out of your way. And with the battlemage armor, the slot on the bottom left is what changes the color of the "scarf." I had more freedom. For example, I used dragon webbing to change its color to orange.

Cheers, i meant the color of metal. If i wanted to have the metal parts red.
Crafting without having played the game seems a bit confusing, at start ![]()

Oh! Then I don't think you can as the slot that changes the metal part is where you'll have to put the silverite in. I don't know what the default color of silverite is though. Annoying trade-off! I spent like 2 hours last night messing around with colors. I'm still not satisfied and it's pissing me off!

I think it would be much better if they just allowed you to paint your armor parts seperately. I am trying to see how i will make heavy armor for Mages that have red or darker metal pieces.
It seems i might be stack with silverite.
Anyone at least know its color? ![]()
P.S. Please don't let it be that shiny silver yuck ;p

Lol wea re going in circle ![]()
Of course BMaster has normal scarf, but it hasnt cloth slot
Only by masterwork!
So lets finish by that:
if u want
1) colourful belt
2) colourful plate
u need to find somwehere faded highever weave which seems to be more rare then many violet things, and craft battlemaster armour with masterwork.

I'm finally satisfied with how my Inquisitor looks! I took three screenshots if anyone wants to tell me how bad or how good it looks:

With Battlemaster armor legs:

With superior battlemaster armor mail legs (does anyone know where to get the schematic for it, dog vendor in hissing wastes doesn't have it):

In my opinion, I hate how the battlemaster armor mail legs as seen above changes the trouser color to that green. It doesn't match. But I really like how the metal boots look like! It has a metal claw sticking out on the back of the heel kind of like a dragon as well as the pointy thing you see on the front. It was in one of the trailers.

Wow guys, i just find a new helmet that looks really cool !

I'm sorry, but I think that helmet looks really ugly. I really like how your armor matches it though.

You don't need to be sorry, you have the right to dislike the helmet
. It looks better ingame btw. And for the color yeah, i tried to make all parts consistent.

Chris, the armor looks awesome, what material did you use? Is it silverish looking or is it just me?
Also, the battlemaster mail legs look better indeed, even if the pants are green ![]()

Actually, it isn't silver, it's Paragon Luster, but it does look like silver, and it is shiny, ha.
-I used Paragon Luster as the main metal. That gives +8 strength for warriors I think? It's a commonly found metal in the Western Approach location. I think Iron has the same look.
-The red leather is made from Dragonling scales. That gives +16% resistance to fire. (Dragon scale color is an ugly bright white! What were they thinking?)
-The green cloth or "scarf" is fade-touched velvet which is where the masterwork slot is. I believe I got it from a red templar. Must have been a rare drop. I had other materials that give it the same green color but you don't get the cool square-ish pattern on it as you see, just the plain green!
-I also used veridium which had no effect on the colors of anything. That gives +6 strength I think.
I think they did a great job with how the upgrades such as the arms and legs blend in with the colors from the base armor. I'll give the mail legs a shot.
