I couldn't find the thread, but I was thinking, not having the files for DAI characters in front of me, our inquisitor must have a file or area of a file dedicated to his or her initial settings that we choose for how they look. Now, I would say its likely an alteration somehow occurs to that file when dealing with Hawke. I'm thining it has something to do with the Hawke CC interacting inappropriately with the data from the Inquisitor CC since they are likely the same CC and it is just inappropriately writing data to the Inquisitor CC as Hawke's look is being created. If that file is locked to "read-only" then the mission is executed, maybe its possible to prevent this default switch from occurring? I'd say it's 50/50 that it will work, and one would probably need to do it before loading anything (including the game) complete that buggy mission ASAP, then save, leave the game, and change the file back to R/W before something bad happens (such as CTD, Save Corruption, etc... you never know, files start doing things the game doesn't expect all the cards are off the table).
Just my 2 cents. As for the Devs, please look at the CC writing inappropriately to the Inquisitor CC data during Hawke customization, I'm betting that is where your bug is coming from.
