I found some in the Exalted Plains and it said that it removes class restrictions. I thought that meant I could have different classes wear class specific armor (ie warrior wear rogue or rogue wear mage). However when I crafted an item with it the restrictions remained.

 

So what does removing class restrictions mean? or is it just glitched.

You have to use it as the main part to remove the class restriction - using it as a utility or defense piece won't remove the restriction.

 

If you did use it as the main part and it didn't remove the class restriction, then it's a bug.
