I was extremely surprised that there is not a thread regarding Personal World States

 

Everyone Plays their game different, and I was curious about the rest of communities playthroughs and world state plans. Dragon Age Keep allows you to experiment outside your paythroughs which can give this game quite a bit of replayability!

 

Main Playthrough: Pro Elf / Pro Mage (currently playing) Goal: Elves and Mages in best circumstances

 

DA:O ; Male Dalish Warrior (Kind and tries to find peaceful resolution, makes choices to help elves and others.)

-Formed alliance between elves and werewolves

-Sided with templars but kept First enchanter alive

-God Baby

 

DA2 ; Diplomatic Male Mage Hawke (sided with Mages, and tried to help everyone)

-Hooked up with Merill

-saved the clan

-Sided with Anders

 

DA:I ; Female Dalish Mage (Pro Dalish, but kind to all) Just got to Skyhold

-Trying to hook up with Sera

 

Second Playthrough - A hole/ Pro Templar Goal: Power Hungry characters, Racist and Pro templar actions, Hero of Ferelden and Hawke related

 

DA:O ; Female Human Mage (Very Racist and an A Hole, only cares about herself and those who matter to her)

• Hooked up with Allister and stayed his mistress

 

DA2 ; Aggressive Female Warrior Hawke (Pro templar and kind of a douche)

-Bethany joined the circle and wasnt killed at the end

• Got jiggy with Sebatian

 

DA:I ; Sarcastics A hole Male Human Rogue (Racist, Anti Mage, Power/Money driven)

 

Dragon Age Keep Fun;

 

Playthrough 3 ; Dark Souls

• Everyone who can die is dead (mostly) or gets screwed over

• Qunari Leader survived DA2

• Hawke kisses Felicia Day

• DA:I will be qunari so i can explore that lore

• Allister Romance, Warden dies, and Allister becomes a drunk

 

Playthrough 4: Pro Chantry

• Romances with pro Chantry characters, and pro chantry quests

• Pro Circle mages but pro templars

• DA:I charcater to be HERALD OF ANDRASTRE Paladin like Knight

 

Playthrough 5: Pro Dwarf but racist to all else

• Pro Dwarves choices, help dwarves

• A hole to all else

 

Playthrough 6 : Pro Grey Wardens

• recruit as many Grey Wardens as possible

• Allister stays with Warden Order

• Hero of Ferelden becomes King

• Destroy all kinds of darkspawn or ghouls

 

I doubt i’ll get through all this, but merely ideas.. whats yours?

I usually don't do too many 2nd playthrough but with the Keep I have been thinking about doing a 2nd one with all the choices being pretty much the worst / bad choice possible. Just not sure what character type I will be

Would you want it to be more tragic for the player? or more tragic for the world? or both? What i mean is, would the a hole Hero be the cause of the menace and mayham, or would you create a world where because of choices, the hero is in a bad spot?

OK, so I am doing it a bit differently because of time constraints and stuff with DA O and DA 2 I am doing it where my first DA O-DA 2 World state will be worth two play throughts of Inquisition (my two 'canon' Inquisitors) and then maybe a second world state for a third play through and MAYBE a third for a fourth.  So here we go.  

 

First World State:  

 

Malcolme Cousland- Human Noble- Warrior

 

-Bit arrogant and eager to please at first, humbled himself later on.  

-Andrastian.  

-Sided with the Mages, and got Wynne.  

-Made peace between Werewolves and Elves

-Kept Connor and Isolde alive.  

-Did not defile the Urn

-Sided with Calidin, Harrowmont King  

-Executed Loghain.  

-Anora and Alistair co rule with him as adviser

-Kept the Architect Alive.  

-Tried to romance Leilianna, but failed.  

-Good friends with Leilianna, Wynne, Morrigan, and Allistair.  

-Didn't get along with Zev and Oghren

 

DA 2- Aeryn Hawke- Rogue-Humerous.  

-agnostic bordering on belief in Maker

-Killed Ser Kerras

-Bethany Circle Mage.  

-Killed Jevaris

-Defeated the Arishock in a duel.  

-Kept Anders alive but did *not* really approve of what he did.  

-Took the Lyrium idol. 

-Sided with Lairius.  

-Helped Tallus

-Romanced Anders (dawww)  

-Got along with Anders, Varric, had a rivalry but really liked Fenris.  

-Despised Isabella, had sort of a tough love relatioship with Meril.  

 

DA I

Benjamin Trevelyan- Human-Mage-Diplomatic/ humorous.  

-Pro order, and law.  

-Andrastian.  

-Knight Enchanter

-In favor of most Theadosian instutions, but also is in serious need for reform, but not outright revolution.  

-Will try and romance Cassandra (good luck pal).  

 

AND 

Kara Trevelyan-Human Bow Rogue- Sarcastic little ****

-Assassin 

-Athestic.  

-Hates nobility

-is in favor of chaos and the more 'on the edge' parts of Thedas society and peoples.  

-Is in favor of tearing down the system as much as possible and sticking it to the man.  

-is very pro freedom especially when it comes to Mage Rights.  

-Romance Bull, probably.  

 

World State 2:  

Ariane The Elf -Bow rogue-Dalish Elf.  

-Sided with the Mages.  

-Sided with the Elves.  

-Sided with Branka, Harrowmont King.  

-Killed Isolde, Connor Alive.  

-Did not defile the Urn.  

-Anora Queen, Loghain dead.  

-Architect dead.

-Romanced Zev

-Good friends with Zev, Alistair, Sten, Shale, Morrigan.  

-Didn't get along with...anyone really.  

 

Alexender Hawke- Mage-Diplomatic (but with a seedy undercurrent)  

-nominal Andrastian.  

-Got Kerras to back off thanks to Varric.  

-Carver Templar

-Didn't make the deal with the Demon.  

-Jevaris alive

-Took Lyrium Idol.  

-Supported Anders and his dreams of mage rebellion.  

-Sided with larius.

-Tried to romance Merril, but failed.  

-Had a fling with Tallis.  

-Good friends with Anders, Aveline, Meril.  

-Hated Fenris/ Isabella.  

 

DAI

Athena Adaar-Two Handed Warrior- Humerous, though direct.  

-un Qunari Qunari.  

-Hates the Qun

-Loves Elves.  

-Loves to drink people under a table.  

-Reaver.  

-Romance Sera

 

Third World State:  

Cassandra Amell-Human-Mage

-Andrastian.  

-Supports mage freedom but a lot more diplomatic about it.  

-Sided with the Mages.  

-Made Peace between Elves and Werewolves

-Sided with Calidin, Bhelen King (barf)  

-Ali King, Anora in Jail, Loghain Dead.  

-Made the Ultimate sacrifice.  

-Unknown Architect (probably will...kill him).  

-Good friends with Sten, Ali, Leilianna, Morrigan.  

-Disliked Zev (and he did not survive the mistake) Oghren or Wynne.  

 

Keep Hawke -Warrior-Templar-Direct

-Devout Andrastian.

-Boor

-Arrogant.  

-Will try romancing Isabella

-Take all the arrogant options he can/ support the Templars.

 

DAI:

Gustav Trevelyan- Human-Shield and Sword Warrior

-Really supports nobility.  

-Devout Andrastian.  

-Believes heavily in the 'military' solution, born to lead from an early age.  Would be King.  

-May try and romance Dorian, stress may.   

-Is still uneasy about being anyone's 'Herald'

Honestly never thought about making multiple characters for a single world state, probably cause i want a very different experience every time? i dont know.

Its just how I roll honestly.  To this point I have never created a BioWare character who was not religious.  Even my Shepard's I headcannoned as at least being nominally religious.  I just think that in the world of Thedas it would be hard not to be religious of some sort, and since I am nominally relgious myself it seems to work.  I think its going to be really fun, potentially, to play as an atheist human noble in DA I though.  I am actually looking forward to it.  

 

And...Its not the way I would prefer to do things I would prefer to do a unique Warden/Hawke for each play through of Inquisition, but  the two games are almost incompatable for it.  Since there was one voice (or no voice) in DA games past really the only way to create a 'unique' world state and a unique experience would be to do each class.  With Inquisition, with four voices, it demands four different play throughs.  And considering I consider my first two playthroughs to be my most 'canon' it just seemed logical to use my 'Canon' Warden-Hawke for the first two play throughs.  The Malcolme-Aeryn line.   

 

I do feel like adding:  While my characters may be Andrastian, many of them are not fans of the Chantry, at all.  Alex, Aeryn, and Malcolme while they do have their beliefs really does not agree with how the Chantry goes about doing things.  Especially Mal who appreciates Lelianna's viewpoint on the subject.

I did forget to add that Benjamin and Kara are brother/sister.  Not that either one of the others knows that they are at the Conclave but I thought it would be a pretty tragic touch all things considered.
