I don't have the game but apparently this game isn't going too well.

Does anyone have this game, and having massive problems with it?

Wow talk about overreactions. It's a buggy mess and ubisoft deserve to be punched in the face for this level of **** but all the problems it has can be fixed with patches. A recall would be moronic.

I never liked Assassin's Creed, but it seems to be popular even with all the venom being spewed at Unity as well as past botched releases. It will probably blow over and people will forget about Unity by this time next year when the next annual installment comes out. Then they'll complain about that one instead while the CEO of Ubisoft laughs all the way to the bank again.

This is why you don't develop a game with 10 different studios at once.

I thought they just release patches, not recalling games back.

They've been doing this since Revelations, it has nothing to do with it.

About the topic: I saw that article, and another by "Forbes." Seems like clickbait to me.

Worth pointing out, they had a day one patch, released another within a week, and have been talking about the third since then. They aren't sitting back on their laurels.

That's like saying "I once drove at 200kph and didn't crash. Speed has nothing to do with accidents".

Sure it can be pulled off, but you're greatly increasing the risk of things going horribly wrong when you do it this way. Ubisoft was able to keep control of it for a while, but eventually got burned.

I'm just happy i called it right days before Nov.11th.that rouge was going to out sell it and do great, specially the story aspect.and Unity was going to have bug/glitches which would ruin the game for most and not so much story.I dos stuck though cause i love the franchise, if i ever get unity it will be few years after it has been out.Within next pay cycle or so.i will be picking up AC:Rouge though

Everyone I know, me included, has been more interested in Rouge than Unity.

I can't wait to get Rogue. I hope that one day they make an Assassin's Creed set in Japan, that'd be awesome and is what a large portion of the community seems to want.

I hadn't even thought of Egypt, that would be a great setting for a game. Ancient Egypt isn't even an issue anymore, since they started skipping around with 4.

Indeed.they could piece things together and create a alternate story.or set one in the future with a genetic sequence from the "master race",something that after "x" amount of time.releases a dna trait.in which makes mutants or the human race starts to drop, due to unique illness.theres so much potential with the franchise.

Well there's no way to know for sure, but I can't agree at all. I don't see what this has to do with having lots of people working on something. It's more of an issue of new hardware/new tech/pushing the bounds way way too far/poor optimization.

If AC: Unity was a car, it would have been recalled.

But its not a car, its software. So no recall.

A recall has to do with basically danger to the consumer. Unless this is a game that, I dunno, blows up your PC there's no reason to recall it.

Nope the mindless drones of the console horde will continue to buy Ubishaft's crap products. Move along. Nothing to see here.

Now I see my typo. I haven't played Rogue yet, so maybe the main character does wear Rouge at some point in the story.  :P

Or just avoid the rehashed crap that is AC altogether.

Patch 3 is going to have over 300 fixes in it when it gets rolled out

Warning: Wall of Text

This is troublesome as with the number fixes in this patch that can lead to them breaking something else, plus they are still far from done.
