I understand that after two consecutive games we don't have the option to be a mage this time, because they did not had time to make it awesome like it should be (like cutting&pasting 4 skills from DAO would be so complicated...), but are there at least BM NPC in this game, or has BM be totally wiped out from the canon. It would be really silly having the mage templar conflit as one of the central conflict of the game...
Are there blood mages NPC in this game?

There are blood mages and you also fight them. They're a big plot point and once you get to it you'll realize that it makes total sense why you can't be a blood mage, because no one would like you or want anything to do with you, herald or not.

Yeah what carman said, being a Blood Mage really doesn't make sense in the current world state. It's pretty much a kill on sight right now with them.

It was always dubious that you could be a blood mage. It makes even less sense in this particular game.
