Hi guys,
Was on this quest for a bit. I was stuck with 2 venatori tomes so i checked a vid to see where the third was. It appears I was distracted by a golden halla when I killed the enemies and never looted the book. I went off exploring the rest of the area and came back to search for the corpses but they were gone. Has this happened to anyone? It seems I may have to abandon my quest to be a rift mage unless someone, anyone can help me. Cheers guys.

Just a general comment on these spec quests, they are ridiculous. I too am having to jump through hoops to make a Rift Mage. People wanted a story quest to tie into the spec not a series of grindy fetch quests for rare items. Plus its ridiculous when I already have Rift Mage as a companion.

I actually find these fetch quests for Specs to be quite irritating. On Nightmare you don't really venture into areas higher level than you and at least one of the guys you need to kill for any of the quests will invariable be in a level 14-15 area.

Yeah the worst part about this is it's looking like I'm gonna have to pursue a different path and begin fetching again for another spec. It would be nice if it were like DAO in this sense and have a companion train you in the spec if you meet their approval.
