Nope. I very much enjoy the no health regen part of this game, makes you think about what you do rather than run around like a headless chicken.

Yeah, if they would have had auto heal, there would be little point for the Dark souls like potions and camps everywhere

Thats why you run around licke a headless chickin anyway, mounted even, to go for the objectives, kill spam pots, get the rift/group down, and fast travel back to the camps everywhere, then do it again. (I really disliked Dark Souls btw).

Due to how my playthrough has gone I would like it a little bit, even if it was just auto-regin to half health. I haven't fought one boss battle where any of my party members end with over 1/4th health, that's not an exaggeration either. The first main boss battle everyone will do, blackwall had 1/4th health, I had 1/4th health, sera had 1 HP and Solas had 5 HP. The next big one I did, only Varric was left alive with enough HP that if the boss had blown on him he'd died, if it wasn't for the 2 NPCs you got during it I would of been redoing that one for the 4th time.
Basically I have horrible management skills with potions, I really should invest in the perks that give more, but I keep forgetting.

I had this happen, i had to run away and maybe survive, my party members would teleport/revive, and i had to pull mobs one at a time, and wasnt always sucessful, 3 hours wasted ![]()

I don't particularly mind its exclusion. Challenges me to manage my health and potion levels correctly at all times, which I enjoy.

Hm. I'm on the fence still about it now.
I think they were going for something more 'realistic' (I say that because as a 2H fighter, the battles seem more meaty. Feel slower, powerful etc) And you don't heal automatically when you're done fighting anyway.
I've upgraded my Healing potion and picked up Regen potions so far.
Though I'm curious, what difficulties are you playing on? I do Casual because the story is more important to me, though I still get into some nasty scrapes.

No.
No No.
More Nos.
I love that they went their own route, did something nobody's done in a while... made you manage your health. One of my favorite things about this game.
