Would it be a lot of work for BW to add new voice option?

I am in love with David Sterne's voice! (http://www.imdb.com/...ref_=fn_al_nm_1) He has voiced some characters in DA2 (Friedrich, Magistrate Vanard and Corypheus) and Knight-Captain Dumar/Dunham in Inquisition. Having him voice our Inquisitor would almost be a dream come true :P. Yeah, it's very unlikely we'll ever see this happening, but I just thought I'd ask, anyhow. Maybe some sort of 'voice modulator'?

Well they'd have to pay him to do it, then go through and record all new dialogue with his voice, recode all the scenes so it recognized if you picked him instead of one of the other 4 so there weren't any audio issues.

On the subject of voice acting, when I saw they cast Freddy Prinze Jr as Iron Bull, I was all "What???" .  Watching the video interview of him, I couldn't get out of my head that it was him when they were showing off sequences of Iron Bull.

Well, I must say kuddos to him and the casting crew.  I don't notice at all, and Iron Bull is great.  That's how I judge actors/esses, on how they make me forget a bias.

It was like when Tom Hanks was everywhere in the mid 90's and I was having an overdose; I got so mad when they cast him in the lead for the Green Mile, a book I adored.  He made me a believer.

Yea it probably would be a lot of work but if it were done well I'd be willing to pay for it as long as we got one of each gender again, I'd be willing to pay quite a bit for it. A different "performance" can make the game seem very different, even when saying the same lines.

Here's to hoping they'll have him voice the protagonist in their next game, then. ;)

Yeah, haven't met Iron Bull yet, but I've still got James' voice in my head, so it's hard to picture anything else. XD

James Vega from ME3.  I find Freddie quite different as The Bull though.

As for the OP, this likely wouldn't happen.  It'd not only be a large undertaking for recording, but it'd likely also need more for other languages (unless we only do English which would make some upset) as well as supplementary changes for UI and whatnot.  Which may not be a ton of work, but also about setting our people on the right tasks especially with post-launch support.

I think optimizations for PC should be of most importance at this moment.

There's been a few times where Vega is heard when Iron Bull is talking.  Not always, but every once in a while, it's there.

I would go with patching the major bugs in the game for all 5 platforms.

I didn't know the current gen consoles had issues? I heard that the last gen ones do but I don't think Bioware would make them a priority.

There are bugs, but quite minor (PS4). It is not broken/unplayable by any means. Biggest downside (not exclusive to PS4), is the tacticam in closed quarters.

I met Iron Bull. It's weird. It's like, he sounds like James, but at the same time... he doesn't.

I've always thought it would be great if BioWare released full player character transcripts and offered an override folder for voice over audio.  I think it would be interesting and fun for amateurs to record their own voices, throw it up on the internet, etc.  You'd be surprised at how many people have access to adequate audio recording equipment.

Too much to ask for, we were spoiled by Bioware to get two voice options per gender.

Tell Bioware to release a devkit and the mod community would fix a majority of the issues for you, for free.

If they were going to do extra voices, I think the priority should be to do ones for elves. Pretty much every Dalish Elf you meet has either a Irish or Welsh accent, but a Dalish Inquisitor can only have either American or English....

They don't own the devkit.
