 Just wondering I heard that you can still play after finishing the main mission.

There's an epilogue "slideshow"-type thing, a short post-credits scene which is mindblowing, and yes you can keep playing after finish the main storyline.

There's a  sequence similar to the coronation part in DAO which you talk to your companions and advisors and learn what they will do ect before you get a slideshow similar to DAO which details key world changing events then a after credit scene.
