Am I missing something or did they remove execution finishing moves? Ive seen a couple mage explosions, ice shatters etc but no melee finishers...
No Executions?

Are there any like monster or dragon executions? You can execute at least one character in a cutscene, yes.

It's been removed since Origins. I was always disappointed that they removed them.
Yet another stupid decision. Why do this? I wonder if it's because finishing moves are why people were pissed that Leliana came back after they cut off her head...
Honestly, they were always cool and satisfying, especially a warrior jumping the Troll in the Tower of Ishal. There was no good reason to not have them.

A lot of people complained anout finishing moves taking place in the middle of battle. Sometimes when fighting two Ogres, for example, you would get stuck for several seconds unable to act because your character was performing a finishing move on the first ogre while the second thrashes your team, all in slow motion.Yet another stupid decision. However, that could've been fixed by making it so only the last living enemy would be eligible for a finishing move. I don't know what other factors were involved in the decision.

It's been awhile but I think Ogre's were special because I only ever remembering it happen on the last enemy in a battle.

I believe we saw one in one of the trailers, so I assume there are dragon executions, at least.
