Quick question about Mind Blast before I start putting points in the pre-reqs.

 

Is it targetable at range, or is it an AoE centered on the player's current position?

AoE centered on the character. Super useful when the mage is getting mobbed, and even better when paired with Fade Step to rush them out of harm's way.

Put it on a Rift Mage and combine it with Templar's Wrath of the Heavens (AoE stun). Suddenly everything will either be dead or have their damage weakened by 25%.

Combine it with your Knight enchanter's barrier and soul blade = invincible.
