I ask as I use Blackwall and Cassandra as my 1 melee slot alternating. They tank with their shields and are useful. I'm a non-barrier mage so I go PC-Cass/Wall-Verric/Sera-Dorian/Vivienne. I need that second mage for the support spells as I lay down the pain. A tank is 100% required in this setup so Bull gets to sit in the Herald's Rest collecting dust. Is there anyone else in a similar situation that has found him a viable choice as the sole melee in the party? I suppose I could respec him as sword n board so he gets some gametime. Is 2h warrior as useless as it looks?
Is Iron Bull viable?

I only just unlocked his specialization. He does seem squishy from the standpoint of his health compared to the shield heavy builds I use for Blackwall and Cassandra, though I think with his specialization he may improve in that regard.
I'll give it a bit more of a whirl, but I'd say viable (if suboptimal) for main tank thus far (Normal difficulty)
