[Prince of Keys]

I think this is where this should go... Hopefully there isn't already a thread like this--I didn't see one, but I didn't look for long.

 

What has been the hardest choice for you in the game? For me, it's one of these two things:

The choice between Hawke and the Grey Warden. Honestly, this was an incredibly easy choice for my first Inquisitor--I had Loghain as a Grey Warden and I've never been that attached to him.

 

But my next Inquisitor had the absolute worst choices of all possible options I could have had. I had my favourite Hawke, still in a relationship with Anders, and a romanced Warden Alistair who had just been talking about how much he loved my Warden and how they were going to be together forever and I just--

 

After I made my decision, I got back to Skyhold and had a letter from my Warden waiting for me, asking me to please look after Alistair because she didn't want him to die for the Inquisition. I still feel guilty about it.

 

The worst part about this is that my younger sister is on her way to this quest right now with the exact same situation, but I can't warn her in advance because I promised not to spoil her. She keeps texting me about how cute Alistair is talking about her Warden and how she's so glad to see Hawke again and I'm just pretending to know nothing.

The choice between pushing Cole towards being more like a spirit or more like a human. I hate being in charge of decisions like that and I love Cole, so I honestly had no idea what to do and I'm still unhappy with my decision. I think I might've been unhappy/uncomfortable no matter which option I chose, but I have no way of knowing until my next Inquisitor chooses the other option.

The Cole thing was rough and I think a good way to tackle what it means to be human. Chaps for that.

For me, the choice between Hawke and Loghain was the single hardest decision I've ever had to make in a video game.

In addition to those already stated, I'm having a really hard time deciding what to do for Bull's personal quest. Like, I'm holding off on talking to him so I can put the decision off.

I wouldn't put Cole's quest at the "hardest choices" but I think if he wants to help in a human form then he should by all means be human about it. Him being like a spirit only puts suspicion in people like when you get to Skyhold, the companions are having an argument if he should be allowed to help... So either way, he would be remembered more as a mortal helper than a spirit.
