[Celtic Latino]

First playthrough was a male elf mage. Believe it or not I actually didn't feel it was tacked on considering much of the dialogue with Solas, Sera and some of the investigate options.

 

Rolled a female qunari mage but deleted her (just finished a mage so I think I'm better off rerolling another class, plus I just couldn't get into the qunari. I know I have to do human at some point but just not ready for them yet). Considering either a female elf archer or female dwarf rogue (either combat style). I had planned for a female dwarf in at least one run but I'm so attached to the elves, plus I really want to do Solas and Cullen's romance (and much prefer Cullen with an elf over a human).

I picked a human male warrior, as i always do for my first run in DA games. My next character is gonna be a sassy female elf archer, on nightmare.

My first playthrough is usually a self-insert, because until i get things my way at least once I have a hard time making choices based on RP, so male human is usually my first go-to playthrough. I piacked mage, cause I like mages, also I'm a mage IRL.

My first playthrough is almost always with a human female (especially in Bioware games).  Next race I'm rolling is elf, though.  I was disappointed that Solas wasn't available as an LI for my first character because they fit together perfectly.

Qunari without any hesitation. Sten was my favorite character so role playing as his "younger brother" makes it more fun for me. My main 2 problems with Qunari is that there are no helmets and armor looks better on humans imo.

Female Elf Mage.  My favorite DA:O run was as a female mage, and I had a lot of fun with the elf specific dialogue in DA:O.  Also the chance to see a Dalish magic user was intriguing.

Male human mage. First, dat skill point. Second, the flow of my personal canon from DAO->DA2->DAI just seems smoother with one, thematically. (And also because of the irresistible lure of have a world state where ALL THE HEROES ARE HUMAN MAGES.)

The way things are, I think I'll roll an elf next.

I had the same thought process. All human mages. Warden was a human male and live because he romanced and had the OGB with Morrigan, Hawke was a female Mage, and my Inquisitor is a male human as well. In my head cannon, the Inquisitor is distantly related to the already cannonically related Warden and Hawke.

I sided with the mages and made them allies, then accepted the position of Inquisitor by saying that I would be an example of what mages could be to the world.

My next play through will either be as a Qunari or Dwarf.... Maybe make dwarf just to flirt with Harding. Does anyone know if she just ignores your flirts or flirtmances back with you?

My first playthrough, and "official" Inquisitor, was a male qunari warrior. Liked it, over all. Had some good talking points, especially with Iron Bull.

Human male mage. The mage class because I have always Cassandra, Sera and mostly Vivienne in my party and two rogues/warriors is not as good as two mages.

Qunari mage - makes a lot of scenes more interesting (I think you may even lose 25 court approval in orlais)

Dwarf Male Rogue

 

My first, and favorite, Warden in DAO was the Dwarf Noble so I was thrilled to be able to be a dwarf again in DAI.

Really enjoying it from a story perspective, but the fact that there are only, like, two armour models bums me.

I'm planning to start with either a female Human or Elf Mage, depending on what I like best in Character Creation. The other might be an Archer alt. I also want to try Qunari in the CC, cause they seem really interesting.

Same here. Some of the scenes even came off as "I have feelings for you, Inquisitor, but I don't know if I can say it."

 

If Solas was open to human females, I would have broke my "Nomance" and went for it. That's how bleedin' perfect they came off.

 

Sigh, such is restriction.

Have fun watching the opening cinematic a dozen times, because it totally is impossible to let players create their character at the start of games.

Went with elf as planned and after being so pleasantly suprised on how much being an elf mattered I'm curious to experience the other races aswell
