I played as an elf my first time. And I just started another elf. What can I say, I'm a sucker for Solas.

Female Elf mage.

 

I made my first elf very young looking, child-like so it would seem adorable when she asks too many questions. It makes relationship with solas adorable. Second one was to resemble my warden(even though she was human) so make it extra distressing for my romance with Cullen.

 

From what I heard, elves seem to get the most racial reaction from everyone and alot are afraid of mages. I'm willing to try dwarves or qunari, but humans seem boring since they are everywhere there isn't any conflict.

Male Qunari. 

Don't really have a preference for races, I find the back story of the character to be more engaging. Which I hated on all of them, with Qunari being the least hated. 

 

I missed playing as a character of humble origin (City Elf) and always wanted to play as an ordinary Human or Human Slave. Nobles are way overrated. An idea for Bioware perhaps?

 

My 2nd play through may just be a Human though, just to roleplay the human as an arrogant, spoilt, conceited noble pr__k.

Went male elf initially but my first one wasn't designed so well in the face and was puny so I went with a female elf. She was so thin and small I had a hard time believing she could command respect and hold authority. She looked like a little girl. I'll try again and just make her older in appearance like the Keeper from DA2. But for the mean time I just went human. Tried qunari but I could only make ugly girls and the guy I made looks better suited for warrior than anything else and I currently want to do mage runs. *shrugs* Human master race.
