Good evening folks, hope this is the right place for this post.

So I put in 80+ hours and had to reboot my computer (said Windows needed to restart for some updates). I went ahead and did so and now Dragon Age will not start. I have tried repairing, redownloading my graphics drivers, etc. all to no avail. I have no idea why this would suddenly now cause a program that had been working just fine to no longer be able to launch - would love if anyone could provide some help/insight - really bummed as I don't want to lose my 80+ hour character, don't think I can bring myself to restart.

Thanks folks.

Start your computer in safe mode and launch the game, if that works then you know its a software conflict. You can also try to roll back your updates, just go to update manager and uninstall the ones your installed that caused it not to work. Once you have done that launch the game, if it works then res install each update one by one and test to see which one causes the conflict.

Thank you @AussieWolf for the help. This is going to sound crazy, but I tried everything you suggested to no avail. Finally, I disabled origin in game and it worked. No idea why but for whatever reason Origin in game causes my game to be unable to launch (i tested this by turning it on/off a few times). I don't have a special rig, just a Razer Blade.

Windows updates are usually security, perhaps check to see if origins has the proper permissions?

Just a random thought.
