I miss the hair
. Well I guess I shouln't have used mods.
Spoiler
I used the same mod in DA2. I went with this hair in DA:I:

Was happy with the result. (Cant show a comparison to my DA2 Hawke. Dont have any images. Had to receate her from memory...)

so, does anyone have any sliders for a default female Hawke? I tried myself and it came out meh,,,she looks good but doesn't look enough like the default Hawke.
Im not that bothered right now...this is my first run, where I do make all choices with no outside interference, but I would like to recreate the default Hawke...all my DA2 Hawkes used the default face just with different hair and make up combos.
Maybe BW could let us know the sliders to make default Hawkes?
It was much more difficult to remake Caris in DAI than I thought it would be. lots of resistance from the new CC to making DA2 anatomy... and hairstyles..and eyebrows..cough. But anyway, here ![]()
hard too that the game got his class wrong
thats just insult to injury ![]()
What class was he? Looks like the mage armor on
he's a rogue.
but DAI for some reason is treating him like a warrior and gave him a sword and shield. it's DEAD annoying. :/
Ugh I failed so hard recreating my Oliver.

Buuuuut at least DAI!Oliver refrained from making derp faces XD

My game did that too, changed him from a mage into a warrior. I was pretty sure I saw him swinging a staff at first, but later on I definitely saw him with a (flaming?) sword. Wtf game?

What are you talking about? Aside from the face tattoos, you did amazing from what I can see. ![]()
*claps in awe*
My game better not change my Hawke from mage to warrior. (I'm already annoyed that he's showing up in the game when he should be with Fenris) ![]()
I love that nose! How did you get the tip so sharp?
I tried but it was always pretty rounded
Hard work and determination XD Part of it is adjusting both the nose and bridge position. If you adjust the nose potition, that affects how the bridge looks as well, which subtley changes the whole line of the nose. The easiest change to spot is with the bridge itself, but I think it can also have an effect on the tip of the nose too.

Heh, well thank you. I guess I do see your point, based solely on those screens they do look similar. But when I see him in game, moving around and talking I can't help but feel that there is something... off about him. And I can't put my finger on it. It's extremely frustrating XD He sounds the same and he says things Oliver would say, and I'm still sitting here in my chair twitching because something about him is not right, lol.
I guess this might be because I've played through DA2 with Oliver like 6 times or so... I dislike every other Hawke I ever made, I always end up going back to him so yeah... his DA2 version is just SO ingrained into my head it just... interferes I guess? I dunno XD
Here's my attempt at recreating Edyth Hawke:
DA2 Hawke
DA:I Hawke
Well, I'm a pretty big fan of default FemHawke in DA2, so I went with that. This is the closest I can get so far.

I was a bit disappointed that they didn't recreate the default to transfer over to DA:I to begin with (was this the case as well with a default BroHawke?). Then again, knowing myself, I would've tinkered with the CC regardless. xD
EDIT: Someone asked for the sliders in a later post, so here you go. Enjoy! http://www.mediafire.../55da8c4grl08u/

I can't re-create mine ecause the haircut desn't exist in DA;I
Finally reached this point and got to have fun attempting to recreate my Hawke...

That's about as close as I can manage. I added some scarring, because I just know running around with Fenris during an all out war of templar vs mage has had to have left a mark. Didn't have the right tattoo I needed, and couldn't adjust the nose to be any longer. (original Hawke has such a long face.
) But I think I managed all right. (he better be a mage.
)
Was so happy when I asked why he was alone and he mentioned that Fenris would die protecting him, literally, so he left Fenris behind instead of bringing him along.

No, I totally understand. I felt I got my Hawke as close to the original as I could...but watching him move and talk in the game...something just feels off. Plus...he's to angry. He reminds me more of aggressive Hawke then the sarcastic but kind Hawke I crafted. I figure I can just scratch that up to the chaos of the war. He's probably irritated that he had to leave Fenris behind, and is worried the crazy elf will get himself hurt while he's gone. ![]()
(also, is it just me or does male Hawke have a bit of a beer belly?
)

Well yours looks good!
And yes, the distinct lack of sass, snark and lame jokes was a little... disappointing to me too, but I agree that the reason Hawke seems so angry and frustrated all the time is because of all the crap that has happened in Kirkwall. Makes sense.
Also, my Hawke romanced Anders so there's that too. He was really vague about Anders when I asked about him, wouldn't even tell me where he is now or what had happened to him. *sad face*
It's the same with Varric; when talking to him you can just tell that what happened in Kirkwall really left an impact, even when he's not talking about it or blaming himself or whatever. He still cracks a lot of jokes, but he's no longer the carefree dwarf we met in the beginning of DA2. And I feel so bad for him, ugh.
(and yes he does! Drinking away your stress is not gonna solve anything, Hawke!)

I blame Fenris and his wine on my side.
But yeah, I know at the end of DA2, I was crying out "Am I the only sane mage in Kirkwall!?!" ha ha. And yeah, poor Verric. The fight he had with Cassandra over Hawke...I felt like I was protecting the dwarf from an incoming hurricane or a stampeding bull. I just wanted to hug him afterward. I was like, "Its ok Verric. Thank you for having my Hawke's back."
I can understand Hawke's exhaustion. He and my Sevant had a nice interesting chat about being responsible for so many lives. Of course, now I want to play DA2 and romance Fen again. Go figure... ![]()
Horribly as I hardly remembered how I made the face in the first place.

I don't suppose you have sliders for her? She is way better than my first try at recreating default Lady Hawke
On a side note, do qny appearance settings for hawke get transferred via an impotred world state?
Yeah sure, here you go. http://www.mediafire.../55da8c4grl08u/
I advanced the story a bit more and I'm very pleased with how she animates. Enjoy!

It doesn't seem like the appearance settings transfer over. Mine didn't, at least.

Considering my original Hawke was modded to hell, I'm amazed I was actually able to recreate her to the T
With the completely different engine and cc, I'm thinking modded da2 probably made it easier for you recreate her!
So far it seems that male hawke is harder to match to the default then the fem hawkes. Bet the females look better moving and talking then the male, to. (something seems off with male hawke. that and his cute little beer belly.
)
How is fem Hawke's personality? Does she seem angry and agressive as well?
No snaps of my DA2 Hawkes as I had that game on the PS3. Had to run from memory.
First up. Elyan Hawke. Aggressive mage. He had spikey white hair, tanned skin and kinda grey eyes in DA2.

and then Amelia Hawke. Diplomatic warrior. She had the long ringlets of hair in DA2. Ginger, green eyes and pale.

So much better than they were in DA2. Where they had chubby faces and weird mouths. I made the worst Hawkes in that game.
