I still don't know how I feel about them not giving us Hawke's tattoos. On the one hand I really miss Quinn's real tattoos, but on the other hand... if they altered the placement of them at all, it'd kinda mess me up more than not having them at all I think. Plus with all the new sliders and the sculpty box I'm not sure they'd be as good a visual land-mark for me in the new system.

yeah, the cc screen for making hawke was incredibly dark. The red looked black, but thankfully I knew it was the red hair coloring.

I was disappointed I couldn't recreate my Kitty Hawke exactly because BW (in their wisdom) didn't put all (any?) of the DA2 hairstyles in the DAI CC so I had to make do with the best approximation I could:

 

 

I should have made DAI Kitty's jawline a little wider I think but I hate messing around with bone structure in the CC since it can go wrong very easily; instead I concentrated on getting the eyes/eyebrows and mouth as 'right' as I could and put the change in hair style and 'weight loss' down to the hardships of life on the run from the Chantry/Templars as a apostate mage after the fall of Kirkwall.* (No more pampered living for a Free March noble mage when your lover's blown up Kirkwall's Chantry!).

 

*Or, a wizard did it.

I didn't change too much from the default one they gave, because any time I tried, it just looked awful and I couldn't find a good match for the eye shape. The screen was a bit dark to get the colors right too. Left the eyes alone, but edited the jaw with, lips, skin tone, nose, and hair. So, not her, but close enough for me not to spend a year in the CK to get it right.

Lucky! I went for strawberry blonde and I was off by 1. It was horrible. I dunno if they realize one of the "dirty blonde" colors looks kinda like... baby poo. ;~; and... it would be my luck to give myself it. xD

Laughing so hard at the fact we can't even get anwhere near male Hawke's beard on the CC. DA2 Hawke looked great (in the 'outdated' game engine) and new DA:I Hawke... well he's a lot smoother and higher res... but a massive let down overall. (I have no screen caps to show... you'll have to take my word)

 

There's so much of this game that is great but then fundamental things like the CC problems stop it from being amazing.

What's really bad is the hair color of some of the eyebrows. I thought about a light blonde haired Inquisitor, but the eyebrows looked green.

Did a rush job on my fem!Hawke. On my second playthrough I will take more care of her, but I'm kind of bummed out on how dark the CC is and that Inquisitor voice change bug. @_@ Looks okay in the CC, but meh in-game.

They didn't have his hairstyle from the other game (it looked like Alistairs), but there you go. I tried to pick the closest thing to it from what was available.
Plus, he was a Rogue with Daggers (again, he showed up with a two handed sword). Not really complaining, but hey. Just noting the differences.

Yeah, my Hawke had the same hairstyle, so I had to go with this one to. But just tell yourself its been a few years since kirkwall, and Hawke let his hair grow a little. Then it works.

Ah well...gotta work with what we got. At least he doesn't look in DAI like Zevran did in DA2.

Since I hadn't tried human CC before, I didn't realize that tattoos would be so different from DA2. ^^; Luckily only my first hawke used them, though I still really miss that cheek tattoos thing she had. Had to use bloodstains and different tattoo (small one) to somewhat recreate her.

 

And just my luck that none of the hairstyles I used on my Hawkes are no longer usable; I specially miss Leandra's hairstyle.

Decided to take a second stab at this my second run. Perhaps slightly less half-assed.

no have you seen evidence that the rest of your import was successful, e.g. plot events are otherwise syncing well with your world state?

Yep! I played through it longer and morrigan had her child which happened in my DAO saved files. Its really confusing D:

pretty sure that's an issue with your keep import. Although, some people have had the mix up of Hawke's class, despite proper keep data.
