My Hawke was, basically, the default but with different coloured eyes and a scar across the nose. So when it came to his new look, I tried to like the beard...
But I just couldn't.
I figured it's a slightly ineffective disguise. Works for me.
Sadly I couldn't get the nose scar to quite work either; it was never quite big enough whatever I tried.
Someone can tell me plz, do i can create my inquisitor look likes Hawke Default(male) from Dragon Age 2?

I thought she was meant to be the default but when I tried selecting the default when talking to Varric I get someone completely different, not even the hairstyle or the skin tone was the same. I'm really confused. Was the Hawke in the image created for marketing purposes only, or is my game just glitching out?

I'm on my third playthrough of DA:I, and I think I've only now managed to recreate my Hawke. Poor Noah went through the last two attempts with truly unfortunate cheekbones...

It's probably just a case of Hawke's default face not being completely worked out yet, but they needed a face for the trailer so they whipped up something quick.

Now, in DAI. Added freckles, cause she's super pale and I couldn't do that in DA2. She looks a little more weathered, but I think that suits the passing of time and stress while she's been on the run. Now just have to decide what her fate will be...

I think the problem here is that you can't use any of the old hair, especially the longer. Also tattoos, even though I rarely used those.
The hair sometimes makes a character look like the character. Standart Hawke female had a totally different hairstyle and Loghain did as well which made them a lot harder to recognize on the new engine.
agreed. im still surprised they just stopped using the old ones. granted, some of them were truly awful, but there were some in DA2 that were great. not to mention DA2 default hawke hair, which i always envied
And don't forget the good ones from Origins which were also in DA2.

Honestly? The biggest obstacle for me so far has been the lighting in the CC. I haven't had any problems with the Inquisitor CC but the Hawke CC leaves half her face in shadow.
The other problem is that I only have one picture of most of my Hawkes, and since I don't own the game any more, I can't just open it up to take a look.

So, I tinkered some more and this is what I got. /shrug
how does it compare with your DA2 face?
Mine went well, considering everything. At first I thought it wasn't possible to recreate him since I had to mod DA 2 to make my original Hawke. My DA2 Hawke was the canon one bald, with red eyes, and it was made using mods in DA 2. Surprisingly, on Inquisition, one actually can modify the default hawke, so I just had to make him bald, red eyes, and here he is. The only thing I couldn't match were the scars and the tattoo...but I don't care about it honestly.
Here are the three Hawkes I've re-created so far. Just trying to get them looking remotely similar.

I loved my Hawke, so much so that she looked the same during all of my DA2 playthroughs 
But my hard drive died and I don't have any pics of her anymore, so this is the closest I got just by memory. Looks nothing like her, lol.
Poorly. I am not an artist, and while I was pretty happy with my Hawke, I really have no idea how I got her the way I like her and even less idea how to approximate that in the new CC.
The lack of imports from previous Dragon Age games has been a real letdown.
