Hello,

 

       I'm planning on doing three full playthroughs in which I'd beat it on insanity with the same character via new game +. What I plan on doing is for my first playthough which I'm doing now, is have the good ending with full paragon and romance Liara, the second playthrough being a renegade with the different ending, non-romance, on hardcore difficulty, and last playthough on Insanity finishing up trophies, good ending, full paragon and romancing Liara again.

 

So my question is this: "When I transfer my save to Mass Effect 2, which ending will I get? Since it's all on one character with the same save, and different endings, I'm not sure which one I'd get when starting Mass Effect 2."

 

I want the good ending, but since I want to try different things with my second playthrough and experience it a bit differently, I wouldn't want it to effect the save even though on the 3rd playthrough I'll be a good guy again.

When I transfer my save to Mass Effect 2, which ending will I get?

 

Mass Effect 1 creates the Char file used for importing after the decision whether to save the council/ Destiny Ascension or not. (But before choosing a councillor)

So the DA decision is imported into ME2.

You could do a manual save before that (i.e., before you enter the council chambers) and reload that to create a different Char -endgamesave.

 

(But personally I'd replay ME1 for every different Shep, as some decisions before that point also have a noticeable impact.)

->The only thing the DA decision changes are some ME2 Citadel convos, and the ME3 council.
