I've watched some videos on YouTube and discovered that the book that starts the quest is not in the room with Solas. I went to Val Royeaux to Willvan and purchased all the books he had available and still nothing. I made sure that Solas has points in Rift Mage and still nothing. Also looked on the War Table as someone mentioned and nadda. Oh and yes I'm in Skyhold and have done several quest from here. So not sure what I am missing but would greatly appreciate some help.
