I came across a merchant with a lot of schematics for sale...how do I tell what's what? I'm looking for heavy armor schematics, but there's no examine option and I can't tell just by the names.

 

I mean, one's obvious, "Heavy Adventurer Armor"...but would "Sturdy Defender Coat" also turn out to be heavy armor? And what would be the difference between "Sturdy Defender Coat" and "Sturdy Defender Armor" How can I tell without buying everything and looking at them on a workbench later? I was hoping to find a list online but no luck...am I missing something obvious?

Agreed, I wish there were a way to preview schematics before you bought them. Don't know what Bioware was thinking with that. Even multiplayer, you can't see how the materials you craft the armor with affect it. Sort of sloppy in my opinion.

I still hope someone makes a list one day to compare Armor Ratings...but paying attention to the icons helps haha

Hm i cud be teribly wrong here but as far as i rember there is  tooltip saying which armor type is the shematic for, like light,medium or heavy.(playing on PC so not usre if consoles have it as well)
