I've noticed it seems to be set up with a character roughly the height of a human in mind now most of the time this isn't really noticeable, not unless you've played a human then everything just seems to 'fit' better if that makes sense. But, Skyhold man. I just got there in my Qunari playthrough and the initial cuscenes there are bad, half of the time they don't even have my character's head in the shot. I remember him walking towards Cole in one and it was just like ambulatory torso all up in this ******. So far it's just an annoyance for me but I wanna know if the more involved scenes (are there more involved scenes? Dancing? Kissyface? The most involved scene I've seen so far was Cory picking up my pc. He's reeeaaaalllyyyy tall) take this in mind? Or is Dorian going to be making out with my qunquisitor's nipple when I finally get around to that? Do you guys think this is something that could be adjusted in patches or is it more complicated than that? Also how are dwarf players faring?
So about that cutscene camera... (early game spoiler, up to initial Skyhold)

Yeah, I played Fem!Trevelyan first and now Male!Adaar is just laughable some of the time. (But I also can't take Adaar seriously with some of that Vitaar anyways. I know, I know...just disable it. But come on! Who wouldn't want a giant canary yellow triangle on their face? Take that, Orlesians! ;D ) Like the slow dramatic stalking where you can basically only see him from his pecs to his hips. You strut down that corridor, Adaar!
Something that I find that seems to frequently happen to Cullen of all people is that he is put in a position to walk off of the scene, but to do that, he has to make eye contact with Adaar. So he's huffing off, but he's craning his neck at the same time, the poor dear. People are going to get whiplash if that keeps up.
I just unlocked the first kiss scene with Dorian last night and it was...very difficult looking. But that seemed to be less about the height difference and more about camera positioning which does frequently seem off with Adaar since it is almost always pointing at what would be a decent 'over the shoulder' for Trevelyan, but is somewhere near Adaar's shoulderblades.
Despite that, I've been enjoying Adaar immensely. It's nice being almost head-height with the Bull. I decided to just be grateful we can play Qunari/Vashoth and roll with the sometimes awkward things. I would've almost thought it was a bug with the cinematics just assuming everyone was human, except for the whole neck-craning thing I mentioned. The characters haven't looked anywhere but Adaar's face yet. So they at least know where it is.
No clue if it was intended that way, if it could be fixed, or if anyone would bother with a patch for it, though.
