The constant banter... the same 3 lines that are uttered over and over and over. Just make it stop! The multiplier character banter is so bad.

I don't really mind.  It just sort of becomes background noise, aside from the odd occasion where I hear some combination of characters that's new to me.

I've actually heard the banter so much I have been walking around the house quoting it. My wife and kids look at me like I'm crazy. lol

 

Also, Is it just me or does the elementalist seem a bit too happy. I crack up every time I hear that guy.

I like the banter, but I agree that it gets old fast if you are playing with the same three base classes all the time.

 

I like that the Templar is so cheery, since I was expecting a "Cassandra" variant.

 

But over time, hopefully they will add more banter so to expand the list a bit, while adding the ability to turn it off client side.

They do need to replace the callout for the Archer.  How does "I wonder how I could have done better" (or whatever he says) say "thanks!" or "good job team".

 

The best lines so far have been the Alchemist.  Gotta admit she's a cute little dwarf rogue.

The first few days were terrible. And the archer is terrible and will always be terrible. But I have actually grown to love the banter. My mind either tunes out the ones that I have heard before or picks up the new combinations. There is a lot more combinations to the dialogues than I thought and its interesting hearing new reponses to old banter. Reaver, Alchemist, and Templar have some interesting lines.

We could turn dialogue level to 0. Or they could have made party banter not suck. Lesson for future games. This idea was weak. Wasted effort.
