Oh psychopath misogynist Black Isle!
You can be PORNSTAR in Fallout 2.
That's one thing the new Fallouts will never beat.

I'm still sad I couldn't romance Cass in Fallout New Vegas.

If you do not think this is a medium defining moment in romance and dramatic storytelling that escalates games to true art, then you are a homophobic bigot:

That painting is like "u focking wot m8?"

Best character in the scene is the painting.
Also the comments in that video (from what I first saw it days ago, they may have changed now but I dread to look) are cancer and reflect everything I hate about what DA fandom mostly is (romance scrubs and social justice warriors).
It's sad when I see some players talking about who they should romance first as if they play through these games just for the romances. Even worst that Bioware encourages this crap when Inquisition (IMO) stands on its own two feet as a pretty good game based on its gameplay and world. Instead we get Kotaku and VG247 writing about the romances.
Anyway on topic:
Games that do romances right? Haven't played one yet that's really nailed it but I thought The Witcher 2 did good with Triss. Bioware's romances are always horrible IMO with perhaps Morrigan's one being the best written out of them and only one I could stomach which was strange as I hated her character.

Cassandra is such a tsundere.
Cullen's chuckle is the best line of dialogue.
Oh and "for f*cks sake."
Yes.
DA:I is just amazing.

Can't think of any since the concept is inheriently terrible in video games.

I'd say this one if only because it's pretty obvious Zelda and Link are into each other. This whole insanely spelled lets sequester a specific plot-line here form of romance that happens in Bioware games and such I find pretty annoying.
I mean really, it wasn't enough in Baldur's Gate 1 to have Viconia and the main player fighting side by side? Or Edwin and Dynaheir? That wasn't romantic enough? Even Persona games don't really have specific romances, it's just a bunch of social links, some of which happen to lead to "deeper connections." Again, if it wasn't before that's pretty obvious it's somewhat romantic in nature.
I think people have equated the modern form of "romance" in games to mean "graphic sex scenes."

I can't think of one that really knocks it out of the park. I found DA:O's romances to be more than adequate minus the awkward sex or Zevran. I still haven't gotten to anything romantic in Inquisition, but some of the characters seem interesting enough.
There aren't many games I can recall where romance is really even a thing. I think romance will probably stay the domain of movies. I saw the end of Pompeii yesterday and thought, "wow that's romantic as ****". The best romances end in tragedy, and Origins is the only game I can remember that lets you have a tragic end.
