Why is it Iron bull has pretty decent looking plate/heavy armors but the player if they play a qunari is stuck in like the same 2 armor styles the entire game and they look nothing like they do on bull but the same scale mail looking stuff on bull and it turns into pretty cool looking qunari style armor. Oh wait im sorry they do have some other looks but they are like leather coats over the same **** scale mail.

I feel like this is the case with all the armors. I don't know if I'm ever going to find a schematic for medium armor that isn't a carbon copy of the scout armor you get in the Haven tutorial. Feels like I'm going to be stuck in the same outfit the entire game.

If your a Qunari you just may be or something that looks almost the same with a few little changes. Just seems silly to me they have the heavy armor models for Iron bull why not atleast use them with the player char too. They seem to have really dropped the ball on qunari armor styles for sure.

Hunter ARMOR not coat, not mail, ARMOR has no coat, is purely armor, Prowler armor is the end game armor, I have not got it yet.

The starting armor basically has three variations, waist coat, trench coat, and what ever you call the third type. Mail changes the under shirt to well.. chain mail. The armor variation removes the coat and leaves you with armor.

Superior Hunter Armor with Hunter mail arms and legs.

I just went to the hissing wastes bought templar or sturdy battlemaster armor and its the same look as the garbage leather ive been wearing since the beginning of the game.

Qunari armor design is just terrible.

I give up im restarting a new game with another race.

So medium armor looks just like heavy armor on Qunari's? Becuase if that pic is suppose to be of medium armor that is just how heavy armor looks as well. Same scale/chain mail same coats all that.

Is this a bug or did they just forget about it?

I'd like to have an official response to that....my Qunsitor is lv14 now, I am ~30 hours with that char into the game. Til now, I have exactly 3 different clothings: the starter Armor (in different color variations and upgrades), the DLC Dragon armor and the pyjama.

 

If I give an armor to Iron Bull, he's wearing goddamn heavy plate armor! That's how I like it! 

But when I give exactly the same armor to my Qunsitor...it turns into the visual of the DLC dragon armor. What dark sorcery is this?!

The player armor is the same, from rogue to warrior to mage, there is no change in the player armor except the stand alones like warden, orlesian, templar etc which are not available to to qunari.

 

It annoys me something serious.. hell, sky talker or what ever his name is, the huge avaar npc, he is the size of a qunari yet is suppose to be human.. that is one big human.. They really dropped the ball when it comes to armor for all races. The main armor sets scout-hunter-prowler / defender-vanguard-battlemaster / enchanter-???-battlemage are identical in appearance to each others respective tier. They are stronger than the stand alones due to arm and leg customisation and in order to get the trailer armors you need to kill the three dragons in emprise de lion which are so far at the end of the game that it is only useable if you want the cosmetic change because the sturdy tier 3s are stronger..

Yeah but there not all the same if you put them on other people they look totaly different on iron bull compared to a player qunari and the armor looks different on humans looks like actual plate. Not sure on the medium and light stuff have not really messed with it but it seems silly that ALL armor looks the same across the board on qunari well I should say on player qunari like i said on bull it changes and actualy looks decent.

I really am hoping this is just a bug and will be fixed soon. I'm 30 hours into the game as a Qunari Mage, and I look no different than when I first started the game, whereas my friends have had variance in their looks as other races/classes.

 

I find this pretty unacceptable.

Qunari got shortchanged all around in this game.  Hair styles, armor choices, you name it.  It really shows that they added in playable Qunari at the last minute.

The only thing I dislike about the Qunari Armors is that the Warden Armors look 100% like the mercenary armor from the beginning of the game. I didn't care to use it I just wanted to see what it would look like on a Qunari and seeing a Copy and Paste from something that looks ok-ish for Starter armor to being pasted on Warden Armor disappoints me greatly.

 

BUT THIS PISSES ME OFF! When you go to Craft Armor you can SEE the Warden Helmet on a Qunari and it looks 100% amazing, I do not like being teased!

 

Other than that the Sturdy Battlemage Armor looks really cool on Qunari.

My Qunari mage had like 2 or 3 different armor appearances through the game, and I did every side quest and leveld to 23. :\ They were all really ugly too. The few times I found a unique robe and hoped for a special appearance it was restricted to human/elf/dwarf.
