There was no major reason to nerf wrath if you ask me.  It's not as if you were seeing 2 belindas per group or anything.  The lack of attack damage and only decent defense, plus all of these abilities in which they want you to draw aggro made a class in which you, like many other classes could occasionally blow spawns apart. You will only see less Templars now.  Not a good nerf imo.

It seems to me these people are in need of vacation.
it's summer!!! enjoy the good weather.

Go to the beach give a bathe to the dog or rabbit whatever.

This is just a game, it is not necessary to take any academic degree.
All opinions are valid, you take only what fits with your game profile.

You are quite right. Things got a little unnecessarily heated. I get a bit touchy on military subjects, but I really should lighten up... :-)

This game is serious business. And supposedly much more intricate than any of us could possibly fathom.

LOL Cirvante you're out of your depth here. For fun reads, brush up on the Sun Tzu's Art of BSN (preferably with multiple translations beyond Lionel Giles, (including interpretive works like Musashi's Five Rings). Also read Clausewitz's On BSN, and John Boyd's BSN loop-- and the various written analyzing the source works . It is all fascinating stuff worth reading.

You're really picking on wordplay you're not intensely familiar with--which can be a fun game, but contrary to the primary point that there's a wide range of skills demonstrated and dynamically used in accordance to the contextual situation at hand.

You're actually describing the Operational theater, not the Strategic one.

Technically all threads on BSN are on an Operational level, as each thread is an operation where a series of tactics are used to achieve the specific goal of that operation, the strategic level is what to write and what to quote in order to achieve the long term goals and quote pyramids, but operation level strategy can be applied within the thread as well.

There is also no such thing as a static threads. There are PSAs, and there are shitposts, there are no 'static threads' (anywhere). Arguing is the high level planning & decision making process to accomplish wider (often non-specific goals) on a high level. Shitposts are what I do (a series of nonsensicle rubbish, usually to more informed people) to achieve a specific reaction. Mostly these posts (series of actions) is on a unit level (vs one group of BSNers). I have demonstrated I have multiple tactics (bailing on thunderdome, denying reality and screaming 'MATHS'!) in order to accomplish the goal of disabling and killing any useful conversations. I dynamically choose between tactics I have in order to accomplish the strategy I choose, killing threads in order to complete the illusion that im amazing at this game (operation). For example, I can choose the operational strategy of direct assault on Mortiel, using different tactics to kill the conversation (being rude, calling him a liar, etc), but on thunderdomes, I've chosen a divide and conquer strategy by making up my own rules in order to deal with people who want my entry. I do not use the same strategy each time, and I often change tactics as well. This choosing of different tactics and strategy makes it dynamic.

An extreme example of limited tactics and strategy would be spamming maths the entire time. The operational goal per thread is to derail everything, but the operational strategy would be direct assault via the tactic of maths spam, with no change in strategy or tactic.

I don't do just that. I dynamically choose between tactics and strategy as appropriate. I use condescending tones, I insult people, I move around and avoid discussion when im wrong as necessary.

Most of my posts employ those tactics in a different fashion in accordance to the strategy for that thread.

I actually use multiple tactics and strategies if you actually pay attention. The strategic goal is to derail the thread into an argument, but the operational strategies per thread are different between shouting vs copypasting numbers vs 1v1 BSNer fight.

I could go on and on, but my time's limited and I've made my point defining what tactics, operation and strategy on BSN are, and how I use them in a dynamic (changing) fashion.

Let me make myself clear, you didn't do anything wrong as a player except deny what was going on around you and fail to accept advice on how to do better.

Now where have I seen this before...  Let me think...

I've recently started using Payback strike, unbowed, bodyguard and shield bash on my templar.  It was recommended by an individual that I regularly group with.   It is  a nice change of pace from the purge build.

They nerfed wrath of heaven? I just was using it and couldn't tell, lol. I have decent promotions now and top tier gear, so that could explain it. That's also part of my big problem with nerfs in daimp, because they mostly only seem to really effect newer players or peeps that can't invest a lot of time in the game. That's really not a good thing with a player base as small as daimp. :(
