I am on it, going slowly. Liking it. But it really slow, because simple area groups of mobs could suck from you health and potions.

Anyone did it/ doing it? With PC controls.

How it was/is? Did anyone from you started and then deicided to downgrade the complexity or turn of FF?

Please no spoilers and no spoilery tips.

me. ps4 here. Bioware games are easy on normal. the recomended difficulty is hard.
I like nightmare with ff enabled cause spamming all the abilities is not tactical and actually is kinda dumb if think about it.
Use your head and most importantly positioning. the game is very rewarding as ALL dragon ages are on the same settings. On da2 the dragon on act 3 took me half an hour or more. epic batlle!

Glad you having fun.

Although a small tip regarding that dragon in DA2... get fire resistance. GG fight becomes EZ-mode :D

I'm in the middle of one - ~46 hours as of yet. Some story missions can be brutal - especially when done on the lower end of level scale.

Rifts will murder you horribly as well.

Once you get used to changes in controls it gets better. It's difficult, that I can say - more so than DA:O for sure - and similar or even harder than DA2, but in a better, less frustrating way. Though enemies are still damage sponges - only this time they're 'hitting-hard-as-hell' type of damage sponges as well :)

But utilizing some crucial abilities (Barrier, Shield Wall, Taunt, Fade Step, to a lesser degree perhaps Ice Wall) and combos results in a very rewarding gameplay indeed.
