You mean your absolutely free talent that you did nothing to gain? Fine. Open the toolset and remove that talent. Perhaps you should also complain about how your human mage gets +1 to strength and dextarity.Halfcab wrote...
It won't matter that you would be wasting your forced talent if your going for a complete bow or 2H spec?
You realize you can't even see their talent specs, yet your saying it doesn't matter. Please elaborate on how a wasted talent does not matter.
No 2H Warrior Starting class? Dalish Warrior Bow Spec?

The CC gives us no Warrior race/class/background combo that inherently gains a 2H weapon talent... Bummer.
I've put alot of thought into my first Mage Rogue and Warriror so that their race/class/background combo gives them a starting talent in the appropriate tree, as to not waste any talent spec points. I'm surprised nobody gets 2H love right off the bat.
No Dwarf 2H warrior love? WTF?
Also, the only class to start out with bow talents is the Dalish Warrior? Why not the Dalish rogue, since they become rangers and well, rangers usually use bows. Bow dmg is dex based... So I'd much rather be a Dex based dalish rogue/ranger than a dex based dalish warrior/????? If I wanted to be all out Bow Dps.
Hehehe, I make my Dalish Elf a two-hander.

Emerald, is there some reason why you're going through posts that are almost half a year old and necroing them?

No doubt there are many folks here now that never saw the discussion before and bringing it to light allows them to do so. For those who have no further interest in them it's very easy to simply not open them...
As for the topic at hand I don't have an issue with the devs decision myself - 2H are mostly underwhelming at low levels and a free talent is just that FREE. I found it useful for my 2H and for my archer types as well but then I tend to try not to make extremely one dimensional characters myself. YMMV

I know it's a freebie talent, but especially in the case of warriors, I wanted to be able to choose a weapon style and not have any points "wasted" in a style I was never going to use. Makes almost no difference in the long run, but it will help you get up to speed in your chosen weapon style that much faster.

You are forgetting to take "people on the internet"'s insatiable lust for whining, ****ing and plain old complaining. No matter what you do, someone somewhere on the internet will complain about itwanderon wrote...
I have never understood why people get upset when old topics resurface. Just because a topic was discussed here a few months ago doesn't mean it should never see the light of day again or that there is nothing more to be said.
