I have tried like a million times on the 2nd part where you fight along side the archers and the enemies just keep coming and coming regardless of what I do or how long I last. Anyone have any tips or know if this is bugged?

The only way I've finished it is to fight until all the militia are dead then start dragging the rest of the zombies up to the place where you started with the knights.

No no no. Heal the militia and win. Did this on Nightmare without a single militia dying or a teammember taking any damage.

Kiting is boring and doesn't make sense to the story (they should have a hard time theirselves imo)

One time an enemy got stuck so the wave never ended. I had to look around the map for the wayward skeleton to end that part of the story.

As has already been mentioned, just hold your party and heal the NPC's. Use your mage to CC\\incapaciate the various undead as well, to aid the NPC's in their beat down.

Tip: you will notice in the beginning of the town fight that there are a couple of yellow undead's. Focus your party on them first. Then sit back and heal the NPC's.

Also, it helps if you have successfully completed the in-town night battle support quests, more bodies, easier time.

I found it to be easy once I followed this (on normal difficulty).
