As I guy that spared Loghain and had him live past Dragon Age: Origins, I was glad that BioWare had taken that decision into account and included him in Dragon Age: Inquisition for all those that were fans of him. He was like his usual grim self but changed in the sense that his zeal had evaporated by this point in his life; he no longer has the problem that Clarel had ("too much determination") and he genuinely believes in the Warden's cause. Thank you, BioWare, for Loghain's inclusion in DA:I.

(On another note, Loghain doesn't seem to age all that much. He's like the Orlando Bloom of people in their late forties or something.)

Yes, I was more than satisfied with his role. his part is acted well (Simon Templeman is awesome) and he's written well into the same role others have.

Also, sacrificing him felt really good to me, not because I liked seeing him dead but because I can almost not imagine a better death for this character; dying in service to the order he once wronged saving Hawke and possibly even Alistair and Stroud indirectly besides the Inquisitor (and the world).

Although I sacrificed Hawke instead of Loghain, I agree that that would be a fitting way to end his story.

I hope that for those that had him remain alive, he'll be in the next Dragon Age game. I guess we'll see. And yes, Simon Templeton is awesome.

Not there yet (starting with an anti-canon world state) but I am really eager to see his character again! =)

The man looks aged and like he's been through hell. I like it.

Yes I was quite pleased. He's always been one of my favorite characters and that voice! So nice!

When I first saw Loghain in the game, I thought, "Welcome back, old friend."

I'm not sure my warden(s) ever really considered him a friend when he did join the wardens, but I've always had great respect for his story and the characters role in Dragon Age: Origins.

Although meeting him in Awakening certainly felt more friendly, which I did quite like.

During the epilogue, it was said that after Loghain went to Weisshaupt, there ceased to be any word of him. Should be interesting to see if that leads anywhere.

Yeah, I wonder if Al/Stroud/Loghain reappear in any other DA games if they'll keep filling the same role, maybe Stroud will replace Loghain and Al in the event of their death.

I STAND BY LOGHAIN WE HAVE NO HOPE OF VICTORY OTHERWISE!

Maybe he go to find another old god.   Loghain is one of the greatest character of Inquisition one of the few who isnt annoyng.

Loghain is just another example of what a marvellous job BW did of taking our past choices into account. I really felt a great deal of continuity from my prior two games, it's an impressive feat and one that seems glossed over in most reviews I read.

Absolutely! Always sympathized with Loghain, glad to see the Orlesians didn't murder him in his sleep. :)

Never liked Loghain and I never will, but I'm glad his fans approve of his use in this game.

I didn't entirely sympathize with Loghain but paranoia does bad things to people (even if it doesn't justify some of the things he did). The keep state I'm using, he was executed but I might use another later because I did spare him and have him become a warden in other playthroughs.

I never did hate Loghain, though. Howe on the other hand ...

ETA: I like how he looks in Inquisition. Different, like most of the characters, but a better different than Alistair.

As soon as Hawke mentioned his name I made a happy dance. What an amazing return he makes and what a glorious death. (Sarcastic Hawke ftw, sry)

I'm glad that many people were also pleased with Loghain's inclusion in Dragon Age: Inquisition.

Again, if the next Dragon Age game takes place in the Anderfels like I hope it will, I hope that Loghain will have a part to play like considering his disappearance at Weisshaupt, for all those that let him live in Dragon Age: Inquisition. Besides, I'm all for more Simon Templeton voice-acting.

Yes I am very impressed with Bioware not only for doing this but the way they did it. I haven't played a world state where he is alive yet (although I do have a couple that I will get to eventually) but I watched a video coz I wanted to see how they handled it. It's great that he can potentially go on to do some good and make up in some way for his mistakes.

I loved it. Especially his response to the demon's taunts "(Grunts) Is that all you've got? It's nothing I've not said to myself."

In every replay of Origins I killed Loghain. I saw him as a traitor to his king and a villain to the wardens. So in my second playthrough of Inquisition, I changed the Keep world state to one of Loghain taking the joining and becoming a warden. When Hawke ( a character that I really liked) told me about his friend Loghain, I was kind of taken back by that. How can anyone say that man was a friend. Then I met him and wow, was he different. He was now a senior warden of ten years. I grew to really like him and admire how much he has changed. I find myself wanting to go back and replay Origins and spare him now and conscript him into the wardens.

Yeah very happy with what they did with Loghain. I had to leave him in fade though. I felt his redemption story was complete.

One of the only things I liked about DAI.  I always supported Loghain. He freed Fereldan and if he army charged in, they would have all been wiped out and the darkspawn would have won. He made the tough choice of either everybody dies and he keeps his honor or he makes the hard choice to give them a chance to live. He made good arguments in Landsmeet, he was partially manipulated by that other ahole who gets killed too.  But anyway I see him as never having bad intentions but willing to make hard choices for the survival of his country. And his voice actor is A++++, great to have such talent not wasted and enjoyed by having him killed.

Very pleased, though I still wish he would've gotten a longer and more epic death scene.
