Hello!

 

I would like some feedback from experienced players regarding composition.

 

Difficulty: Hard

Playstyle: Only playing my warrior Inquisitor, Companions full AI 

 

Currently playing with Cassandra as tank, me as 2h dps warrior, and using Vivienne (Barrier + Winter) and Sera (Ranged DPS)

 

Is it possible to play on hard as a 2h tank/dps warrior with 2 mages (2x barrier) and 1 ranged dps?

 

I like be taking a lot of sidequests and exploring, so I will play the mainstory at the highest recommended level.

I use similar composition. Me as 2h dd, Cass as main tank, Solas  specced as supporter, and either Varric as ranged dps or Vivienne as secondary barrier caster and fire dd. I think you'll need a main tank whatsoever, but haven't playing without one...

Do the passive abilities from the shield tree work when you're using 2h weapons? i.e. immunity to flanking. It doesn't say must have shield equipped.

Yes passives work all the time, verified it. For my 2 handed reaver i am taking W&S passives and they are working brilliantly.
