That's cool. He basically blew up SPECTRE?

So having a stick in the ass is a requirement to be a Spectre

We settle for being able to play with a single finger up your butt now.

Lulz. Yes let's add this into the "Story of Boogie".
To those whose advice was "have fun": improving one's gaming skills (or wanting to) doesn't mean they aren't having fun doing so. In fact, the process of getting better is a major component of what makes any game fun. For me, at least. The moment I suspect I reached the limit of what I can learn, I'll grow bored and quit.
Probably a silly question but are you able to extract on Silver difficulty using the classes/builds you're worse at without using any consumables?
Did you get in?
He was in, out, then in, then out, then shook it all about.
What the rusty one said.
The common theme being, just have fun ... so long as you're having fun you're "doing it right" ... all other priorities are rescinded.

Yeah this. Playing better is a major component of having fun for lots of people, so... Why cut it short? They can be done at the same time anyway...
I've never understood what the actual criteria for getting into SPECTRE actually is. Do you gotta commit a crime without getting caught? Endure a hazing ritual? Use cheesy kits and beat your chest after game when you finish on top of scoreboard?
Glad you cleared that up, I've always been perplexed. The criteria for a tryout are safeguarded by those borne from the dark quagmires of the forsaken realms.
When you can make Phantoms cry, you'll know you've made it.
You on PSN? I'll take you under my webbed feet if you can play on weekends. I've been looking for an apprentice.
Play quarians.
Re: Headsets
Agreed completely. Once upon a time I actually felt the geth scanner was useless unless I was using deliberate wallhax (Such as Biotic Slash) because my old headset was THAT good; I always knew if something was coming around the corner. That headset died and I'm using a slightly lesser one now, that helps, but not on the level of being able to hear everything through walls.
Re: Mobility vs Shields
The Drell Adept is actually one of my good kits for not dying a whole lot, so I -probably- have a decent grasp on positioning? It is true, however, that on something without a dodge and high shields, (Base Turian, Batarian, Krogan) I generally do better with a Cyclonic Modulator than an Adrenaline mod. Might be worth looking at. I've also been replaying ME2 as a vanguard (the one class I nver "clicked" with in ME2) which is making me want to give the Drellguard another try; I can score with it, but Biotic Charge is risky when you're squishy and want to capitalize on that bonus weapon damage after charging.
Re: Enemy Spawns in relation to (other) human player positions
Sounds like this is my next priority, then. If only because pugs tend to make things freakishly "random" (to my perception) with where they go and when. Solo, this is never an issue.
Re: Aim
So long as we're not talking Snipers, I'm pretty decent; depending on the gun and how much I use it (Example: Power based kit,) I'll usually get my 20 headshots medal if my gun can do so. Unless my allies are screwing with me. Including, but not limited to, Ragdoll Hell + Screen Shake spam + Flamer spam at the same time.
Sniper rifles, however, are a nightmare on consoles, IMO. You can't adjust your aim quickly when scoped, and trying to aim unscoped has this BS aim assist bull that suddenly jerks your aim towards the body of something else as soon as you scope. Lost track of the number of times I saw someone go down after killing a Swarmer with a sniper while they were clearly shooting at a Marauder before their last reload. Honestly, I dislike sniping in ME3 for this reason alone, and have recently started to respec almost all my infiltrators as non snipers, exceptions being the Quarian Male and Drell Assassin.
Re: Playing Quarians
Hells yeah. But I'm a very fickle man and sometimes I get bored and want to change it up. As fun as Quarians are, sometimes I just want to take that helmet off and breathe fresh oxygen. Not that refiltered stuff that passes through CO2 scrubbers needing replacement.
Re: Silver without dying?
When I promote, I used to slap the Adas on something fairly durable and solo silver Geth to level back up from level 1. I can't pull it off on just anything, but I do solo silver at level 1 on select kits without issues.
Thanks for all the replies, everyone.

Still counts - as long as you're having fun while "getting better" you're doing it right... mind, if you get any better you'll realise how much of a scrub I really am!?! ![]()
Practice with Sniper Rifles more and you'll get there. Aim Assist has some aggravating mechanics but you get used to them and how to get around it after a while. If you have two targets it will split the difference between them sometimes or quickscope in on a swarmer at times if they are the closest enemy. I sucked butt with them at first but now I can take a freaking Mantis and usually top score in almost any pug match with quickscoping and reload canceling. Play them a while on bigger maps and then get used to having to use them on CQs maps. Everything is painful at first when you're learning but the challenge becomes fun at least it did for me.

You can rage gel and still be in Spectre. It's almost a requirement
This. You must also really ****** hate Primes, hatred of the Geth Prime is a non nonnegotiable requirement.
You may qualify for Premium status if you can dance, carry a decent tune, and habitually shove large objects in your anus.

I thought there was something about pinching nipples too?
Or was that just Mega being Mega?
