I love the game but it has a ridiculous amount of glitches/bugs an to be honest there are some big ones "I am looking at at you Save Corruptions" I just hope B-Ware fixes alot of the problems because I love Dragon Age but alot of these bugs are unacceptable.
Is there a patch incoming today?

Nope. It's HIGHLY unlikely a patch would land on the weekend. Most often patches hit on Tuesdays, given Console release timings. They have to work through Microsoft and Sony to get it up on the network which happens during business days.
I'm betting not this Tuesday but next Tuesday if we're lucky.
They could release a patch on Origin at any time for PC but you know.... yeah...

Wasn't the patch meant mainly to fix the PC issues? If consoles will get a patch, it'll be a different one anyway.

Anyone wanna place bets?
I'm confused, though... I thought Bioware took an extra MONTH to fix bugs with a day one patch...?
How did the reviewers fail to mention so many of the bugs???
There's the gender identity crisis, foreign accent syndrome (voice change), lack of companion banter bug, no music while exploring bug, the ridiculous amount of clipping during animations, the delayed dialogue bug (having to wait a minute for a companion to respond)... It's pretty bad.

And there's supposed to be music when wandering a zone?! What!!

Clipping or "jumping" animations in some of the dialogues or videos is irritating, also the clipping or jerkiness of sound in some.
Few bugged quest or lore items can wait a bit longer, also the dialogue-wheel bugs occasionally, but at least I can live with it after 50+ hours in the game ![]()
travelling to "dragon island" (or back) messes my screen: black bars on top and bottom, like on videos, but there is no video, just a a loading screen. The bug is that the black bars are there after the travel.
I have crashed a few times, most of those during the first day for some reason.
War-room map also seems to be a bit bigger than my screen, so sometimes the quest-flags near the left or right edge are actually offscreen. I can still select them with a mouse but its irritating.

It's strange to me that BioWare was not prepared to drop a patch quickly after launch; development doesn't stop when a game goes gold, so I have to imagine they've been hard at work on known issues in preparation for a launch patch.

Well, there was a day 1 patch. We just need a second week patch now.

SOME people are having issues with that.
EVERYONE is having issues with the accent bug.
Logic.
Not sure 'everyone' is true but it is the thing you want fixed so you will push for it.
Yet it is cosmetic, so if I was Bioware, I would look at game breaking problems, like corrupt saves or AI problems were you can not progress on hard or nightmare because of those issues. Cosmetic stuff is nice but would not top my list of priorities.

It is everyone. You can test it yourself.
While not game breaking on a technical level it totally defeats the entire purpose of a character and your immersion in the world. I was so pumped for that entire sequence and now it's just a complete bummer. I can live with the occasional crash every few hours, the weird stutters, and silent party members for now.
It's the bug equivalent of your Shepard's face not importing into Mass Effect 2. (which happened too in some cases and was promptly addressed and fixed).
But to each their own I suppose. Bottomline: it should be included along with all the other initial fixes for this patch while they work on the next round.

Alright, as much as I love the side-content, I want to progress the story some. I have a question.
I have two main quests; the one that switches my accent and the "Wicked" one (and my spec ones)
If I do the Wicked one does it have ANY bearing on the accent bug quest one? Like, do you know if they mention that person or if that person shows up or not, or is it COMPLETELY independent?
