Hi,

I hope this is the right forum for this and that it isn't something that was asked and answered many times already.

As you probably know, at one point Origin reinstalled DA2 without asking if you wanted that and without being able to choose change anything (it was the case for me, I haven't heard otherwise).

A while back I wanted to play DA2 again to finish my third playthrough and be ready for my first DAI one.

Sadly, a lot of the mods I had installed are gone.

Weapons and such are still there, probably because those are in the coockedpc/overide folder, but alternate appearances are mostly gone, as are a lot of options for character creation, leaving my current femhawke (who was a really stunning readhead) looking plain, with different colours, skin and hairstyle.

Right now I'm feeling a bit helpless, as I am no crack with mods. I used the DA modmanager to start the game with the mods I want, but that probably won't work anymore, now that it's run via Origin.

So, my question is, how do I get the mods back into the game, if it's even possible and is there a way to still use the modmanager to run them?

Again, sorry if this isn't the right venue or if it is a stupid question, but I am not exactly enthusiastic about playing DA 2 without the missing mods.

I am not awake yet..need coffee..... but it may be your chargenmorphcfg.xml that holds all the face/hair information.

If that is the problem, would simply reinstalling the mods fix the issue?

No,

Each face/makeup/hairstyle mod should have a chargenmorph file included. Then you need to compile them into one (use this mod).

Sometimes you have to add the lines to the file yourself. I can't exactly remember how to do DA2. But in DAO. you open/edit your chargenmorphcfg.xml file with wordpad and simply save when you are finished. Make sure there are no errors in your editing or the game will crash or not launch at all.
