Two days ago I found a level 17, 96 DPS purple staff. On my weapons list, it showed close to the top (sad in it's own right)

 

Yesterday when i logged on, that staff was an 81 DPS, level 15 staff.

 

Has anyone else experienced this?

Show it some other staffs, preferably ones with curves or very horny ones. It might get bigger.

You say your staff was purple?  How long has it been since you've had your staff serviced?  Are you taking it to a licensed professional?  I don't want to freak you out, but you may want to seek medical assistance.

Hey Max I had the same thing happen to me I thought I was going crazy. I even upgraded mine to do like 105dps. I wonder what happen. Maybe someone from Bioware can address.

This just happened to me.

 

Opened up a level 18 Unique Bow - Trepanners Requital. It was one shooting archers on threatening with the long shot ability. Logged in a few hours later and it was level 13 doing less than 40% damages. 

 

I am 100% sure of this as I was playing with the bow for several hours and 7 hrs later the item had changed.

Maybe they weren't satisfied with us getting almost unusable low level unique and instead want us to get TOTALLY unusable low level unique?

I haven't even found a blue staff above 32 DPS and using Common 60 DPS staff currently. Is this what we have to look forward to, RNG gods? You re-roll after you give us the item? For shame RNG gods, for shame...

I am 100% sure of this as I was playing with the bow for several hours and 7 hrs later the item had changed.

 

I got a second Trepanners Requital yesterday. Must have been yours.

I contacted ea support. They said it was caused by a " server error" and they tried to fix it but nothing happened.

If this has happened to you report it so they can fix it ASAP. I for one have no desire to play multiplayer until there are assurances that this is fixed.

Yesterday I rolled a level 17 purple staff (again), i put my only +16 spirit rune in it, added a grip and blade upgrades .. this made it a 120 DPS, life leech, plus a min of 14 to each base attribute staff.

 

Played 1 game with it, at the end of wave 4 I lost connection to the Dragon Age servers .. when I re-booted, it became a level 14 with 100 DPS and 4 off each attribute bonus. In other words, back to worse than the 112 DPS white staff I had been using.

 

I'm unsure where the problem for this lies, but it's tough to imagine I'm going to keep playing the MP portion of this game at all.

 

Considering I've pumped about 100 hours into this game, this is an unacceptable error which has occurred twice. How could I ever trust that I can roll a good item and keep it?

 

In ME3MP terms, this is like rolling a Harrier, using it for a day .. then you log in the next day and there's no more Harrier, just an upgrade to your Vindicator.

PC users may want to screenshot everything, console users can take a picture with your phone/camera.
