Sera. I thought I'd love her because she was silly and fun but she was in the inquisition for half an hour before I was over her drawing butts on everything.
Kind of agree, even though I like Sera. I can appreciate Sera for what she is, but I really was hoping for more Robin Hood and less....Beavis and Butthead. I don't think she's ugly though or get that claim in this thread or others. I think she looks remarkably like Yolandi Visser. Weird, but not unattractive.

I don't hate any of them, but Sera really gets on my nerves quite a bit. I lost all respect for Blackwall after his revelation. They're the only companions I'd consider telling to hit the bricks or leave rotting in an Orlesian jail cell.
I liked everyone, and thought it was the best overall cast yet. There was nobody that I found insanely boring or actively disliked, which is unusual for a Bioware game.
As for least favourite, I didn't really do much with Cole. I didn't mind him, but I just never got around to completing his quests and didn't use him much, since Sera was my go-to dual daggers rogue by the point I got him. Blackwall was similar, but his reactions to the Warden quest and involvement with it were interesting.
It took me a while to get to like Sera, and to understand what she was saying (I've dubbed her manner of talking 'Sera-speak'). But she really grew on me.
Listening to Sera, reminds me of valley girls from the 80s for some reason. It's like her speech is some weird mash up of cockney, valley girl and text chat...
Dorian. A few of the plot characters were interesting, but for the most part, Dorian was just sort of there. His few shiners of dialogue ("If we need twelve volumes on whether Divine Galatea **** on a Sunday...") were for the most part overshadowed by Varric or Iron Bull, and his plot story was boring, the same old "You won't accept my sexuality, Daddy" story with a little blood magic, but that wasn't enough, honestly.
Also, Blackwall. I agree that he was the Jacob, he wasn't interesting at all. Also, his character is glitchy, he never shows up at all in the stables. Eventually, he just left, probably because I didn't talk to him (his approval was through the roof since I did that fetch quest for him and spared the Wardens)
Morrigan knows for sure. Leliana probably knows too.
Cassandra, with he big book of the Inquisition probably knows about the whole archdemon thing.
I haven't gotten far enough to meet Morrigan again and the other 2 if they know never say a word about it just like the wardens do, got to keep their secret. Up to the point I am at in the game I know my Iquizy doesn't know.
Is that Cockney that Sara uses. My poor American ears can't always catch what she is saying and I have to try and read it. Other than not understanding what she is saying at times I like her. Unfortunately I am a Varric fan so when I need a range rogue I use him. Vivienne is my least favored but its not that I don't like her
That's not cockney. More Essex Girl/Chav. Reminded me more of Vicky Pollard from Little Britain.
I love both Vivvy and Sera. Especially when they're in my party together.
Not a huge fan of Cole or Blackwall. Just... kind of meh on them.
Sounds like a touch of a Birmingham/midlands accent to me as well. That's not cockney. More Essex Girl/Chav. Reminded me more of Vicky Pollard
Hate Vivienne. Hate Sera. Sometimes I hate Iron Bull. Hate Cole's appearance.
I don't so much hate Blackwall as think he is just super generic and boring. Like Duncan reincarnated. Actually he is Duncan with a different name.
Hate Cole's appearance.

Yes that's exactly what's wrong with Sera.
Well that and her complete lack of moral compass.
I was a bit surprised first about the Grey Warden disapproval. Then I thought about it and I understood. They were so engrossed by their only reason to exist that they did some extremely unsavoury things that would have resulted in a completely crapsack world blight or no.
IMHO Vivienne is extremely sweet when she wants to be, and she doesn't, despite what people may assume, have a heart of ice.
I hate Vivienne and Sera. I get along well with the rest.
My favorite characters are Solas, Dorian, Varric.
I don't hate anyone, I love them all. Even Cullen, who used to be really bland and boring in both previous games. Bioware did a really good work with these characters.
Viv has the best snark and Sera is so much fun to have, a breath of fresh air with all this brooding.
No, I think it's spot on. She literally says that mages supporting leaving the Chantry were "supporting mass murder" in her first conversation at Skyhold. Then she goes on to whine about how her side lost a vote and the other side got their way. I'll try that next election if my guy doesn't win. "Just because you won by a slim margin doesn't mean you get to be president!" YES IT DOES, VIVIENNE.
I never understood the phrase "check your privilege" until I met that incredibly privileged piece of trash. She deserves to be in the place of mages getting beaten, raped, or made tranquil over nothing before she gets to pass judgment on the ones that do.
This is just the same argument again. If you really need to take what she said out of context to make your argument then you don't have an argument. She was obviously talking about how their actions made them look. Stop denying that fact just so that you can condemn a fictional character you dislike, it is ridiculous.
We aren't talking about a presidential election we are talking about a war. If you didn't vote to go to war and a bunch of other people did and that meant that you HAD TO go to war, you might be a little bit salty about that. Whether or not it was the right thing to do is a matter of opinion, both choices would have lead to a lot of death.
She wasn't passing judgement on those people, this is just another inflammatory bs statement. She was passing judgement on the rebel leaders pushing other mages into a war that got an awful lot of mages killed and can end up with them all being slaves to Corypheous if not for the Inquisition. What a brilliant outcome! No no she doesn't have any kind of point at all, it's all fine if all the mages die or get turned into monsters as long as they are free. ![]()
I don't agree with Vivienne when it comes to the circle system but she was right about the rebellion. There is no denying this and it really doesn't matter that she managed to get herself into the court, that doesn't make her points any less accurate.
Vivienne probably bugs me the most for the same reasons i disliked Wynne in Dragon Age Origins. Too peachy and self righteous. Gets angry when you don't agree with her.
Solas is a mage that makes me hate him in a different way he's like a massive alpha nerd and know it all about everything. He's like that guy on a forum who has intelligence and uses it to be a jerk. Like every post needs to be some huge essay with quotes of every statement somebody made and why they are wrong XD.
Cole kinda creeps me out and Dorian gets annoying but i don't hate them. The rest i pretty much like.
I dislike Cassandra (were is my bulletproof vest?), the scene were she tried to punch Varric was the last straw for me. I wish I could kick her out there. Sera... is weird, I mean I don't dislike her, but the way she acts and speaks just leaves confused, I don't understand half of what she says. While I actually like Vivienne. Didn't thought it was possible, but she is good at making arguments, so I tend to stay on her good side even if my actions don't match her beliefs.

While I don't hate anyone there are a few that I don't care for. Vivienne talks sweet to the Inquisitor often saying things like "my dear" and "darling" but she is a condescending snob/snake through in through. Dorian (who is my BF on my first playthrough) is at least humorous about the things he says and his observations. Blackwall just seems disinterested in many things and in my playthrough he brushes a lot of people off (brushed Dorian and Cole off, does not get along with Vivienne but then who does?)
I don't like Sera at all. She's an obnoxious teenager who thinks she knows everything because she's sticking it to the Man.
The other companions I either like or am fairly neutral about. Sera is the one I just won't recruit in a second game. Bit of a shame, since Tempest is the best rogue spec, but oh well.

Yes, I agree. Cassandra had no reason to be upset over being told that he had no idea where the most vital figure in the mage/Templar conflict was when he knew all along.
